Here is My Movie Review of All Is Lost

Here is My Movie Review of All Is Lost

So basically you have this guy named Our Man and he has been sailing on the ocean but then one day he gets stranded in the middle of the ocean and he has to do everything in his power to find someone to help him and that is basically what the story is for this movie.

The acting in this movie is still really amazing. But much like I said in my review of Locke there's not much to say about the acting because there's really only one actor in the entire film.

Robert Redford plays  Our Man and I have to say he still does an astonishing job and the character. What makes our man such an interesting character is that all he wants to do is to get back to civilization. Probably my favorite theme is where Our Man is trying to survive a storm and it is probably the most intense part of the movie. This is probably up there with Tom Hardy's performance as Ivan Locke in the movie Locke as one of my favorite solo acting performances.

The directing by J.C. Chandor Is still fantastic because what I like about his directing is that he really does a remarkable job of tackling the subject of Surviving On your own because in real life there are people who are stranded out at sea and have to rely on their own resources to get back to civilization. I still think it is really outstanding how he did that .

So in conclusion I still really enjoyed this movie. I still think this is up there with Locke  with Tom Hardy, one of my favorite movies that stars only one actor. I still think more people should watch this movie especially if you like movies with only one actor like Buried with Ryan Reynolds. I give this movie a 10/10.
