Here is My Movie Review of Arctic
So basically what happens is that you have this guy named Overgard and he has been in the Arctic for a long time And he wants to get back to civilization so he has to do everything in his power to survive in the Arctic. Now the storyline in this movie is very similar to all in lost and Castaway and even though it's sore the same storyline of those films it still does a tremendous job of telling this emotionally powerful and interesting story about a guy who has been stuck somewhere and wants to do everything pound or two get back to the civilization. The storyline in the film is probably up there with the storyline in A Million Little Piece of other one of the best storylines of 2019.
The acting in this movie is still fantastic because even though this movie has only one actor he still does a terrific job giving a really entertaining performance of 2019. This movie is probably up there with Honey Boy as one of the best Acted films of 2019. This movie is also up there with ready Player One as one of the best acted films of the 2010s.
However the absolute big standout in the entire film is Mads Mikkelsen because he is a really tremendous actor because he can give some really powerful and captivating performance is in movies like The Hunt or Another Round from 2020 and here's no different because he does a marvelous job playing the character of Overgard because he gave their raw and really entertaining performance as this character. Now the character of Overgard Is really incredible because he is so determined to survive through the Arctic so he doesn't die In the cold he also knows how to get his own food by finding fish. The scenes where Overgard Is walking through the snow trying to look for food and trying to survive in the cold do lead to some really awesome and really spectacular moments in the film. Especially at the beginning when he makes a SOS signal because he needs help to get back home. It is probably one of the best moments of the entire film And it's really accurate to how People survive in the wild they find out signals to hopefully have people find and rescue them.
The directing by Joe Penna Is still really remarkable Because what I am really enjoy about his directing and that he does a terrific job of making you feel Sympathetic for Overguard because this is a guy who's been stuck in the Arctic for a long time and wants to do everyday is power Survive through The Arctic and get back to Civilization. I also like how he did a terrific job of Of disgusting the topic of trying to survive in the Arctic because in real life there are people who get lost in the Arctic and could be really scary so you acting learn about how to survive out in the wild. I think it did excellent of how I did that.
So in conclusion i still really enjoy this film the storyline revolving around Overgard trying to survive through the Arctic and trying to get back civilization so he done that freeze the death in the cold is it really interesting concept in the film executes it perfectly. Although the cinematography is tremendous because the snowy landscape looks beautiful to look at because it looks like they actually went to the Arctic to film this movie. Also Mads Mikkelsen give one of his more underrated performances of his entire career as the character of Overgard because you can tell that he was having a lot of fun as this character. I think his performance in this film it's probably up there with his performance in the movie Another Round as one of my favorite performances of his. I think this film is probably up there with A Million Little Pieces as one of the most underrated films of 2019. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you enjoy The Hunt which also stars Mads Mikkelsen then I'm sure you are going to like this film as well. I give this movie a 10/10.
