Here is my Movie Review of Ambulance

Now when it comes to this film I always really like this film Because of the cast and the storyline really reminded me of speed because it revolved around These two friends named Danny and will sharp and they decide to hijack an ambulance and take Cam Thompson hostage but well do they know that there is a injured police officer in there and they have to help Kim Thompson Nerf the patient back to health But then Will Sharp has to stop his Old childhood friend from killing people But he also had to Get the money To complete their Heist. And that concept alone was really amazing when the film executes it really well. I think this is up there with Amsterdam and one of the most underrated films of 2022.

    Now the storyline is really interesting because it revolved around the two childhood friends who are brothers named Will and Danny Sharp And they are a part of this heist and they have to get the money because will once pay for his wife's medical bills And they decide to kidnap this woman named Cam Thompson by hijacking ambulance but well then they know that there's an injured police officer in there so they had to do whatever they can to try to resuscitate the police officer in nursing back to Health well avoid gang caught by the police and that's basically what the story is for this film and the storyline is really interesting because it really reminds me of the speed with Keanu Reeves because it does have somewhere elements both movies have characters trying to survive in a vehicle without dying and both movies execute their concepts perfectly.

Now this movie has a lot of big name actors and their performances are incredible Because you can tell that they are having a lot of fun as these characters and was kind of funny is that you get both Black Manta and Mysterio in this film because they are played by the same actors. In fact this film is similar to Amsterdam because both of these movies have really Terrific cast. I still think the acting in the film is probably up there with the acting in the black phone with Ethan Hawke at one of the best acted films of 2022. Now some people say that the acting this movie is way too over the top and to be completely honest I never really hated the over-the-top performances in the film because this film is an action movie that you're not supposed to take Seriously but does do a great job of making you feel bad for these characters.

Now let's talk about Yahya Abdul- Mateen II because he is a incredible actor he has given some really amazing performances like Black Manta in the Aquaman movies, Wonder Man, The Greatest Showman. Now as for this film that is no different because he still gives a glorious performance as the character of Will Sharp gives such an emotional and captivating performance as this character. Now the character of Will Sharp if someone who you really feel bad for because this is a guy that's going through a lot stress his wife Amy in his surgery and he needs the money to pay for a medical bills and on top of that he has to help his brother Danny sharp Rob this bank and get all the money to pay off Long shark so he went and die well on top of that he has to help Cam Thompson resuscitate and injured police officer.The scenes with will sharp are incredible whether it's him telling his brother Danny too help cam Thompson De surgery for the injured cob or him being reunited with his wife it does lead to some really Nail biting and some really emotional moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Eiza Gonzalez, Jake Gyllenhaal, Is still really excellent.

Eiza Gonzalez Plays  Cam Thompson In this film And out of all the performances she is probably my favorite performance in the film because she gives such a really powerful and really tremendous performance as this character and you can tell that she is having a lot of fun as this character.I think her performance is up there with Anya Taylor-Joy´s performance in The Menu and one of the best performances of 2022. Now out of all the characters Kim Thompson is my favorite because she does not take any nonsense for me when she wants to resuscitate this police officer as well as bring Danny Sharp to justice. The scenes with Kim Thompson are tremendous in fact they are probably some of my favorite moments in the film whether is her trying to do surgery on the injured police officer or her flipping off Danny Sharp Or her help in this little girl out of a crashed car. It does wait to some really suspenseful and some emotional moments in the film. The chemistry between her and Yahya Abdul- Mateen II and Jake Gyllenhaal is still really extraordinary.

Now let's talk about Jake Gyllenhaal He is probably up there with Paul Rudd as one of my favorite actors of all time because he has given some really tremendous performances in films like Donnie Darko, Spider-Man Far From Home, Enemy, And Jarhead along with many other films. Now with this film that is no different because he still gives a really incredible and probably one of the most unhinged performances of his career because there'll be times where Danny Sharp would be calm but then there'll be times where Jake Gyllenhaal would raise his voice.Now the character of Danny Sharp is really dark and disturbing because this is a guy that will stop at nothing to complete this Heist even if it means playing other people in danger and one minute he could be calm in the next minute he snaps and attempts to kill someone that being Cam Thompson. The scenes of Danny Sharp are Some of the most unhinged and some of the most incredible moments in the film whether it's him threatening to drop cam Thompson out of the ambulance well it's moving when he put the gun to her head or him trying to help Cam Thompson with the surgery. It does the way to some really brutal and some really scary moments throughout the film.  The chemistry between him and Yahya Abdul- Mateen II and Eiza Gonzalez Is still really spectacular. 

Now let´s talk about Michael Bay I think he is an okay director I didn't mind 6 Underground I thought that was a pretty good action film. But I really liked The Island with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson because that film had a really incredible and unique concept and the characters were really memorable and really entertaining. Now as for the film I think this is one of his better films because yes it is an action film but he does develop the characters really well particularly with cam Thompson because this is a la ambulance driver and surgeon Who wants to help this injured police officer and try not to be killed by Danny Sharp. I also like how he developed the character of well sharp because this is a guy who is going through a lot again his wife just had surgery he wanted to pay her medical bills and get the heist done so he can be with her.So I think that was really interesting how he developed the characters the overall I think he did a pretty terrific job directing this film.

So in conclusion i still really love this film i think the storyline is really interesting having these two brothers named Danny and Will Sharp hijack and ambulance to complete a heist is a brilliant concept and the film executes it really well. Now yes the film does go over the topic a couple areas but that's why I like about it it doesn't take itself that seriously except when it touches on the emotional stuff in the film but in terms of entertainment it knows exactly what kind of movie it is. Also the performances are incredible especially from Jake Gyllenhaal who plays Danny Sharp and his performance is really intense and really entertaining as well because you can tell that he is having a lot of fun in the film. Also Eiza Gonzalez who plays Cam Thompson give a really fun and captivating performance in the film. Also her and Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul- Mateen II play off each other perfectly they all have amazing chemistry with each other. Also the action scenes are really amazing especially when will and Danny steal the ambulance and they're trying to outrun the police well Cam Thompson is trying to do surgery on an injured cop. I still think this film is up there with Amsterdam with Christian Bale and one of the most underrated films of 2022. I highly recommend you watch this film if you enjoy really suspenseful films like Speed with Keanu Reeves or Green Room with Patrick Stewart. Then I'm sure you're going to like this one as well. I give this film a 10/10.
