Here is My Movie Review of Enemy

So basically Basically what happens is that you have this guy named Adam belle who is this college teacher but then he find out that he had an identical twin named Anthony St Clair who is actually trying to steal his identity by Sleeping with his wife doing his job for him and eventually taking over his entire life and His girlfriend thinks the twin is her real husband well Annabelle tries to tell her that he is her true husband and it's up to I'm about to try to fix everything and convince his wife that he is her husband and that's basically what the plot is and what I just described to you just now You might not understand it but it is sort of good that this movie has a convenience store only because this movie requires a lot of viewings to understand it so it's essentially Inception and it's actually a really awesome idea for a film Another person that works exactly like it trying to steal your life and you have to try to fix it and get your life back on track and the film execute that concept perfectly.

They acting in this movie much like I said multiple times is that it really only has one actor in the entire film and that actor is Jake Gyllenhaal and he is so great in this movie that for that He can hold his movie. I still think his performance is right up there with Riz Ahmed in Sound of Metal as the character of Ruben it is probably some of the best acting from from both of the actors in their separate movies.

Jake Gyllenhaal plays both Adam Bell and Anthony St. Claire In the film. I have to say he does a tremendous job at the characters because keep in mind Jake Gyllenhaal has to play two characters in one movie and sometimes it could be really hard for an actor to do that but he somehow does a terrific job between both of the characters. now Adam Bill As a character is really interesting because all he wants to do is get his identity back from Anthony St. Claire And he also wants to try to fix his relationship with his girlfriend. The scene when he finds out that his girlfriend slept with Anthony Saint Claire is it really disturbing seen because he thought he was the one that fell in love with her but in reality it was his twin that was dating her longer than he has and it's probably the most shocking and disturbing moment of the entire film. Now Anthony St. Claire is a character Is really interesting because unlike Adam Bell he wants to steal Adam Bell's life from him. Probably the best moment with Adam bell is where he says tell Anthony Saint Claire that he is the real him and not only is it really shocking but it makes sense because he wants to take over his entire life including his girlfriend. It is probably the most disturbing and twisted moment of the entire film. I still think this is one of Jake  Gyllenhaal´s most underrated movies. I also still think this is Jake Gyllenhaal's most underrated movie performance. Fun fact actors like Denis Villeneve, Javier Bardem, and Christian Bale were all considered to play both Adam Bell and Anthony St. Claire. 

Now The directing by Denis Villeneve Is really interesting because this is the same director directed films like Dune Prisoners and Dune part 2. I have to say he still does a tremendous job directing this film because why I love about it directing Magnificent job of exploring the concept of what if there's another version of you that stole your identity and tried to ruin your life and that concept can work really well and what does he do with that concept well he does a tremendous job exploring that concept and giving Adam Bell a really powerful and Interesting care dark because he's trying to appease everything together and he just wants his old life back I think it is really terrific of how he did that.

So in conclusion i still really enjoyed the film the storyline is really confusing and reminds me a lot of Inception with Tom Hardy because that movie is known to have one of the most confusion storylines of any movie and it works extremely well for this film Jake Jones does a tremendous job as both the main character and his twin self in the film and it's probably one of the most weirdest A24 films you will ever see because of the concept of another you stealing your identity is pretty messed up because no one would know who is who in the film explored that idea extremely well. I think this is one of the most underrated films of 2014. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like really tripping movies like Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio. I give this movie a 10/10.
