Here is My Tv Show Review of Jessica Jones

Here is my TV show review of Jessica Jones.

So basically what happens is that you have Jessica Jones who is a private investigator and she is been raped by this guy named Zebediah Kilgrave/Purple Man and she wants revenge on him for raping her Then later on in the series She has to deal with her mother who is a psychopath. It is up to Jessica Jones to get revenge on Kilgrave. That is basically what the story is for this show.

The acting in this show is still amazing.

Krysten Ritter plays Jessica Jones In this show. I have to say she still does a remarkable job as the character. What makes Jessica Jones such a marvelous character that you feel bad for because of the trauma she went through of being sexually abused and manipulated by Kilgrave and forced to kill some people and she wants to get past it and get over her trauma of what happened to her. Now Jessica Jones is not As funny and ant man but there are moments in the show where she is funny and that is because of her sarcasm because of how Krysten Ritter deliveries the lines that she's given that comes off really funny and very entertaining. Probably the best moment with Jessica Jones is where she confronts Kilgrave and tell them that she didn't enjoy being tortured by him and not only was it really intense but it made sense because he forced her to do horrible things and forced her to be his servant for a long time it's probably the most disturbing moments of the entire show. The chemistry between her and Racheal Taylor,Carrie Annev Moss, J.R Ramirez, Janet McTree, Mike Colter, Kevin Chacon, and David Tennant is still really great.

Rachel Tylor plays Trish Walker In this show. I have to say she still does a fantastic job and the character. Now the character of Trish Walker is Interesting because is the one she is very smart and she wants to help Jessica Jones get over her PTSD with Kilgrave and that works really well but by seeing it too she just does a lot of dumb stuff like sleeps with Jessica's work partner Malcolm and that was really weird but by far the dumbest thing was Trish Walker where she becomes Hellcat and just kills a lot of people for no reason that goes crazy she Tried to give herself super powers by giving herself this Steroid like drug together superpowers which didn't make any sense and it kind of made Trish Walker really unlikable and when she went to jail in season 3 I was fine with it because she just went downhill in this show.

Carren Anne Moss plays Jeri Hogarth In the show I have to say she still did the remarkable job as the character. What makes Jeri Hogarth Such an interesting character is that she wants to help Jessica Jones track down Zabadaya Kilgrave/Purple Man and brand it to justice for all the crimes that he has committed. Probably the best scene with Jeri Hogarth Is when she is seeing Jessica Jones attacking Kilgrave in the interrogation room and so in order to stop her from doing that she won't let your kids her to get her to stop and not only was it really intense but it made sense because Jessica Jones was taking her vendors out too violently and needed Control her emotions. It did find the most shocking moment of the entire show. The chemistry between her and Krysten Ritter Is excellent.

Mike Colter plays Luke Cage In this show. I have to say he still does a spectacular job as the character. What makes Luke Cage such an incredible character is that he wants to help Jessica Jones track down Kilgrave and take him down for all the bad things that he has done to her. Probably the darkest moment with Luke Cage is where he is under kilograms control and Kilgrave tell him to kill Jessica Jones and Jessica Jones is forced to fight against him but he is very strong and not only was it really disturbing to see but it does make sense because he had to deal with kilgrave told him to do because he was briefly under his control It is probably one of the darkest moments in the MCU. The chemistry between him and Krysten Ritter is still really terrific.

Janet McTeer plays Jessica Jones's mother Alisa Jones in this show. I have to say she still does an excellent job as the character. Now the character of Alisa Jones Is real interesting because she is kind of the main villain in season 2 of the show end for the most part I think she works well at the villain she is very creepy because Jessica thought her mother died but it turned out she was alive the whole time and the conversation that the two characters have like how Jessica Jones is confused that her mother is still alive and I think It was interesting to see Jessica Jones's mother as the villain. But that being said well she is entertaining as the villain She is nowhere near as scary as Kilgrave was In season 1. That being said I will say she is Way better than the wrecking crew from She Hulk because at least she had an on-screen presence like those villains. Probably The best moment with Alisa Jones Where she reunites with her daughter and tried to get them to spend time with each other but Jessica Jones is not interested and not only is it really Shocking but it makes sense because she is still confused of why her mother is not dead it is probably the most disturbing scene of the entire show.

However the worst performance in this entire show is Jerry Bob as Gregory P. Sallinger/The Foolkiller. I just felt like he was sleepwalking throughout his performance it feel like you didn't really give a shit of what he was doing I think he should have cut out of the show just leaving Kilgrave the soul main villain of season 3. Now the character of Gregory P Sallinger/The Foolkiller Is really dumb because he's just the lazier and boring version of Kilgrave Now  his motivation actually pretty good he is also a private investigator and he wants to prove that he is better than Jessica Jones by showing her that she's just a fake not a real private investigator but the problem is it doesn't really go anywhere It is just there to show that he is just a  a asshole villain and it is not like kilgrave where he's fun to hate no you just don't like him you just want him to die and again they should just kept Kilgrave at the soul main villain of this season. The Rivalry between him and Jessica Jones is very bland.  I think he is up there with Taskmaster from Black Widow as one of the worst MCU villains. The chemistry between him and Krysten Ritter  is  still great.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is David Tennant as Zabadaya Kilgrave/Purple Man. What makes Zabadaya Kilgrave/Purple Man such a tremendous villain is that right from the start He is immediately a character that you just hate He raped Jessica Jones multiple times he controlled her he manipulated her to do horrible things and he uses his powers on other people and he even forced one guy to pros coffee in his own face and he is very intelligent. Also Zabadaya Kilgrave/Purple Man is a villain that you just love to hate you want something horrendously bad happen to him and luckily at the end of the season he does Jessica Jones snaps his neck and kill them but that being said even when he dies. He kind of comes back as like a hallucination he does play a small role in seasons 2 and 3 trying to break Jessica Jones so even though he's dead he can still harass and manipulate Jessica Jones even as a hallucination. The rivalry between him and Jessica Jones is exquisite. Fun fact actor Jim Carrey was considered to play Kilgrave.

The directing by Melissa Rosenberg is incredible because why I like about her directing that she does a excellent job of developing the character of Jessica Jones because she have gone through a lot of tragedy she's been manipulated and assaulted by kilgrave and it is comic accurate because that's exactly what happens to in the comics and I'm glad that she kept it accurate to the source material. I think it is really terrific how she did that.

So in conclusion out of all the Netflix Marvel shows this one is still my favorite. Jessica Jones is up there with Gamora at one of my favorite female characters in the MCU. I also like how the tone is consistent how the it is the dark kneel noir thrower show with a few light hormone moments but for the most part it is really serious and that's why I like it so much it's totally consistent the way it should be also kilgrave is up there with Thanos from the Infinity Saga as one of my favorite MC villains. He has played tremendously by David Tennant and I could tell that he had a lot of fun playing this character. I still think if you enjoy the Daredevil Netflix show then you'll definitely enjoy the show. I give this show a 10/10.
