Here is My Movie Review of Spider-Man

Here is my movie review of Spider-Man

So basically what happens is that It tells the origin story of how Peter Parker became Spider-Man. That is basically what the story is for this movie.

The acting in this movie is still great.

Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spiderman. I still think he does an amazing job as this character. I still think he is really smart and really sympathetic because When he sees Uncle Ben dying In front of him you can see how hard it affects him. He blamed himself for not stopping the robber. Then he learns with great power comes great responsibility. The chemistry between him and Kristen Dunst, Rosemary Harris, James Franco, J.K. Simmons, Cliff Robertson, and Willem Defoe is still really great.

Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson. I still think she does a great job as this character. I still think she is really smart and really nice. The chemistry between her and Tobey Maguire is still really great.

James Franco as Harry Osborn. I still think he does a good job as this character. I still think he is really smart. The friendship between him and Peter Parker is still great. The chemistry between him and Tobey Maguire is still great.

Cliff Robertson as Uncle Ben. I still think he does an amazing job as this character. I still think he is really smart. My favorite part in the movie is where he tells Peter Parker In the car with great power comes great responsibility. That chemistry between him and Tobey Maguire is still great.

Rosemary Harris as Aunt May. I still think she does a great job as this character. I still think she is really smart and really sweet. The chemistry between her and Tobey Maguire is still really great.

J.K. Simmons plays Peter Parker's boss J. Jonah Jameson in the film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. What makes J. Jonah Jameson is such an awesome character that you can understand why he hates Spider-Man because he thinks he is evil and he thinks he is a villain. Probably the best moment with J. Jonah Jameson is when he tells one of his employees too To copyright the name the Green Goblin. Not only was it really funny but it made sense because he thinks he came up with that name. The chemistry between him and Tobey Maguire is still excellent.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborne/Green Goblin. What makes Norman Osborn slash the Green Goblin such a fantastic villain Is that at first you think he is normal guy but after he gets experimented on he developed this second Personality that makes him more sinister and unstable. Probably the best moment with Norman Osborne / the Green Goblin is where he is talking to His reflection and his reflection tell them to kill Spider-Man and not only was it really creepy but it made sense because this is his more sinister Personality would turn him into the Green Goblin. It is probably one of the darkest moments in the film. The rivalry between him and Spider-Man is still excellent.  Fun fact actors like John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, Jim Carrey, John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Mel Gibson, Jason Isaacs, Tommy Lee Jones, Jason Lee, Justin Long, Patton Oswalt, Jack Black, Robert De Niro, Eddie Redmayne, Michael B Jordan, Brady Corbet, Douglas Booth, Sam Clifton, Boyd Holbrook, Aldan Ehrenreich, Kevin Spacey were considered to play Green Goblin.

The directing by Sam Raimi. What I like about his directing is that he basically got everything about the character of Spider-Man really accurate to the comics. I also like how he gets Green Goblin ´ s orange and story prey accurate to the comics as well.

So in conclusion i still really enjoy this movie. I like the powerful and emotional character that Peter Parker / Spider-Man has because at first he wants to win a car for Mary Jane but then after Uncle Ben died in front of him he starts to learn with great power comes great responsibility. Willem Defoe as Norman Osborn/the Green Goblin is still up there with Brian Cox's performance as Colonel William Stryker from X2 X-Men United at one of the best super villain performances. I still think for the first theatrical released Spider-Man movie still holds up to this day. I still think if you're a fan of X-Men then I'm sure you're going to like this one. I give this a 10/10.
