Here is My Movie Review of Wolf Man 2025

Here is My Movie Review of Wolf Man 2025

Now when this movie was announced a lot of people were very mixed on it. Some people thought it was a really great movie while some people thought it was very disappointing and they didn't really like the  design of the Wolfman in the film.  So I watched this movie and I have to say this film is probably the most underrated film of 2025 now I will say the movies like Thunderbolts* and Death Of A Unicorn or better films but this one was still really fun and really entertaining.

Now the storyline in this movie is really interesting because it revolved around this guy named Blake Lovell Who is married to his wife Charlotte Lovevell and they have their kid named Ginger and everything is going well until Blake start having flashbacks of his his father miss training him and he starts to Go a little off the rails and it starts to turn into a werewolf and he doesn't want to be like his father so Blake has to do everything in his power to control his temper and protect his family and that's basically what the story is for this film. I have to say the storyline in this movie is really interesting because they sort of treat the Wolfman as a tragic character because this interpretation wants to keep his anger under control so he doesn't Kill his family and I think that is a brilliant and fun concept and the film executes it perfectly. I have to say the storyline is probably up there with Death of A Unicorn with Paul Rudd and one of the best storylines of 2025.

Now the performances in this film are really terrific because Even though it only focuses around three characters all the actors do a glorious job playing the characters because you can tell all them are having a lot of fun and what I also love in that when the characters get scared you actually believed that the actors are getting scared so it's not like they're faking it there's one performance in particular that I really want to talk about but i'll get to that in a little bit but overall the acting was really tremendous it is up there with Fantastic 4 First Steps as one of the best acted films of 2025.

Now let's talk about Christopher Abbott who plays our main character Blake Lovell In the film is tremendous because he gives a really captivating and really magnificent performance  as this character because you can tell that he really does a pretty amazing job of playing a dad that has a temper problem he wants to keep his anger under control and he want to protect his family and Christopher Abbit that the glorious job of acting like a person that is overly paranoid and wants to control their temper. Now the character of Blake Lovell Is really tremendous because you really feel bad for him because his father died and he doesn't want to be like his father because when he was a kid he was mistreated by his father and he doesn't want to have his anger be Unleashed he wants to control his emotions so he does not want turn into the Wolf Man and I did that is the strongest aspect of this film Blake Lovell’s character Arc because you can definitely understand where he's coming from me wants to protect his family and control his emotions. The scenes with Blake Lovell are incredible whether it is the scene of him bonding with his daughter Ginger Lovell  Or him turning into a werewolf is really scary. In fact, it is my favorite moment of the entire film because both of those moments do lead to some really intense and emotional moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Julia Garner, Matilda Firth is still terrific.

But as fantastic as Christopher Abbott is in this film he's actually not the standout of the film. The truth stand out on this entire film is Julia Garner as Charlotte Lovell because her performance felt really real because when Julia Garner had to act scared as Charlotte Lovell she did a magnificent job doing that because I felt like the actress herself was really scared when she had to act alongside Christopher Abbott Because his character became the wolf man and it felt like it was real because it felt like Christopher Abbott became the Wolfman in real life even though it is just a movie but that just shows how real her performance was throughout this film. Now the character of Charlotte Lovell Is incredible in fact she is either way my favorite character in this film because throughout the movie you can clearly see that Charlotte is worried that her husband Blake his been very hostile toward her she wants him to control his temper and want to keep the family together another one any misfortunes to happen to them and there is one scene In the third act that I really love It is when she has to kill her husband like to protect her daughter Ginger and it is probably one of the most broken moments of the entire film because she really cared about her husband and she had to watch him die. Also the chemistry between her and Christopher Abbott felt so real because you kind of believe that they are a real life couple even though they're not they're just pretending to play a married couple in the film but that's how realistic it was that's how perfect their chemistry was throughout the film.

Matilda Firth Plays Blake and Charlotte's daughter Ginger In the film and she gives one of the most beautiful and emotional performances because much like Julia Garner in the film. She also did a Terrific job acting really scared in fact she does a magnificent job of acting like really scared to the point that felt real because there  be times where she is being so scared that it actually felt like she was really scared when she saw Christopher Abbott turning into the Wolfman in On set even though it is just acting in the film but that shows how remarkable her performance was in the film. Now the character of Ginger  Lovell is incredible because she really cares about her family and she really wants to protect them. Especially her dad Blake because she doesn't want anything bad to happen to him. She wants him to be safe and wants them to stay with her and her family. Now scenes involving Ginger Such as the scene where she doesn't want her mom and her dad not to argue and there is the one moment in the third act that I thought she was awesome and It involved her dad becoming the Werewolf and you can just see the petrified and scared look on Ginger's face because she didn't know her father was the wolf man. It is probably one of the most horrifying sequences in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Christopher Abbott is magnificent because you really believe that they are father and daughter in real life even though it's just them attending but that's how brilliant and real their chemistry was throughout the film.

Now let's talk about Leigh Whannell Who are they really talented director he directed The Invisible Man 2020 now that film I really enjoy because it talked upon white flight to be a toxic relationship but although modernized the invisible Man story by make it a lot more Sinister and a lot more suspenseful than the one in 1933 with Claude Reigns With that one I still enjoy I love the 1933 The Invisible Man. Then he directed this phone called upgrade and I thought that thumb and I really enjoyed it because it reminded me venom how the main character had a voice inside of his head and it's an AI named  STEM who assisted the main character but you didn't know if it with fully trustworthy because stem had a very Sinister personality at the film went on it started to control the main character and kind of took over his body. Now with that film he was trying to show how technology could be used against us but also be very advanced and he kind of made like a better version of Avengers Age of Ultron by keeping with the trailer's tone and not tying it into a comedy. So I still think he did a brilliant job directing those two films. So how did he do directing this film well he absolutely knocked down the park in fact this is probably his best directive film of all time because what I love about his directing is that this is not a generic werewolf movie it's not Something that I found really interesting is that yes it is a reimagining of wolfman but this is more of a horror family drama film because  Leigh Whannell Makes it really care about all the characters especially Charlotte because as I said before she the woman that is very worried about her husband Blake living his temper and what she find out what is going on with her husband is really scary and I love how he builds it up it's not like in Firestarter 2022 Where that film was completely rush and say well  the movie ended deal with it. No they don't do that here they build everything up and when you do see the ending it is really satisfying. So overall I think he did a terrific job directing this film.

So in conclusion I was really surprised by this movie because what I really like about this movie Well it is an adaptation of Wolfman I really like how it is accurate but I also like the unique twist that it does instead of Game bitten by a dog  it is actually the dad who bit his own son that being Blake and he is cursed by turning into a werewolf so he has to do everything he can to keep his temper under control because if does not he will turns into the werewolf. Also the performances are really amazing particularly Julia  Garner who gave a really amazing and Captain performance as Charlotte Lovell in the film. Also the effects to bring the Wolfman to life looks really amazing in fact the CGI does not look that bad it actually looks really terrific. I think this film is up there with Love Hurts with Ke Huy Quan as one of the underrated films of 2025. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you enjoy The Invisible Man 2020 Elizabeth Moss. Then I'm sure you're going to like this one as well. I give this movie a 10/10.

Here is My Movie Review of Tron

Here is My Movie Review of Tron

Now when it comes to this movie I really enjoy it because it is a really fun and entertaining film and it did really well to the point that it  got a sequel Tron Legacy in 2010.

Now I will say the storyline is pretty dull it's not terrible but it's the least interesting thing about the film because it revolved around this guy named Kevin Flynn Who is this video game programmer making this game called Tron and he gets stuck in Tron and he has to play these games in order to get out and take down Sark and the master program And try to get back to the real world and that's it that's essentially the story in this film and it is the weakest part on this entire film.

Now as for the performance, is it really  interesting because a lot of the actors do a terrific job as the characters but as good the performances are that's not the thing that makes this movie really incredible.

Now easily the biggest standout of the entire film is Jeff Bridges who plays Kevin Flynn  and his performance is probably the best performance of the entire film because you can tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character. Now as for Kevin Flynn As a character he is descent he does go through an interesting Arc but you kind of know where his ark is going to end. He is a terrible character but he's not the most complex character like Iron Man from the MCU. It's mainly due to Jeff Bridges's performance that makes his character interesting. The scenes with Kevin Flynn Are really fun and entertaining mainly where he is in the Tron game itself. That's where all of Kevin Flynn's most entertaining moments come into play like the scene where he first goes into the Tron game itself; it is probably one of the most incredible moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and  Bruce Boxleitner, and David Warren is terrific.

Bruce Boxleitner plays Alan Bradley in the film and his performance is really incredible because he does a glorious job as this character in this film. Now Alan Bradley as a character is entertaining because he really cares about his best friend Kevin Flynn and wants to help him get out of the game and get back into the real world. The scenes with Alan Bradley are really entertaining whether it is him bonding with Kevin Flynn or him telling Edward Dillinger that he can't use trying to make himself a lot more money. It does lead to some really entertaining and some really suspenseful moments throughout the film.  Now  Bruce Boxleitner plays Tron in the film and his performance in The Incredible he does a tremendous job with this performance. Now Tron as a character is really interesting because he has shown that he is really intelligent and he wants to help Kevin Flynn  get out of Tron and go back to the real world. The scenes with Tron are really fun and entertaining to watch whether it is him teaching Kevin Flynn how to survive in the world of Tron or him confronting Sark .It does lead to some really fun and chilling moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Jeff Bridges is terrific.

David Warren  voices The Master Control Program and Sark In the film and his performance is brilliant because you can tell that he's having a lot of fun voicing these two characters in the film. Now the master control program as a character is entertaining because it is an artificial intelligence that controls all the game and wants its players to stay trapped in the game so they don't go back to the real world. The scenes with the master control program are really suspenseful and really interesting whether it's the scene where introduces itself to Kevin Fylnn  Or sending Sark To kill Kevin Flynn it does lead to some really heart pounding and entertaining moments in the film. Now Sark as a character is really entertaining to watch because he is this really intimidating and really creepy character in the film Who Wants to Kill Kevin Flynn so he doesn't go back to the real world. Also the voice of David Warner is really creepy and really interesting. The scenes with Sark are probably some of the memorable moments in the film whether it is his introduction scene when he first needs Kevin Flynn or him sending his guards After Kevin Flynn To capture him it does lead to some really awesome and really incredible action sequences in the film. The chemistry between him and Jeff Bridges is perfect.

However the best thing about this film are the vigils because they look really amazing and they are probably the best thing in this entire franchise because even though this movie was made back in 1982 the effects still hold up especially when We are in the Tron world it looks really awesome in fact my favorite effect on the film is whatever you see them on these bikes with these helmets on and when they take the helmet lock and you see their faces it works really awesome and It works for the film's benefit because these films are supposed to  simulate that you are in virtual reality. That's how tremendous the effects are in these films.

Now let's talk about the directed by Steven Lesterberg and I'm really mixed on his direct name I think in terms of giving the audience a good story he does a good enough job with it even though and I said the storyline is really generic and not the strongest thing in this film but I will say though he actually did a farm beared job of director than I thought he would after rewatching this film Because he does do a good enough job of developing their characters but the thing he actually did a great job of doing it actually making you feel like you're in the world of Tron with all the virtual and special effects in the film so overall I think he did a pretty decent job of directing this film.

So in conclusion I still really enjoy The film because it is still fun and really entertaining to watch. Now I will say the storyline is the weakest part of this entire movie. It is not that interesting, it's not terrible but it's not the most memorable thing in the film. Now the performances were really awesome, in particular Jeff Bridges and David Warren  who are the big Stand Downs of the entire film because they have such amazing chemistry that you can tell that they are having a lot of fun in this film. Now obviously the best thing about this entire film is the effects they look amazing especially when you're in the Tron world that's where the effects really look amazing in the film in fact whether we're in the Tron world that's where the film got really interesting because it really feels like you're in that world with the character that's how tremendous the effects are in this film. I highly recommend you watch this film just for the effects you will not be disappointed with and the visual style that the film goes for for the Tron world. I give this film a 7/10.

Here is My Movie Review of 2001 A Space Odyssey

Here is My Movie Review of 2001 A Space Odyssey

Now this is going to be a really different type of review. I'll still talk about the film itself but not a whole lot because I want to dive into the making of this entire film, what originally almost happened with the film and how this became the best films of all time.

Now I talk about Stanley Kubrick now this was the director that to say that he was super strict that is saying something this director  is a perfectionist which means he whined everything to go perfectly smooth on set and he has directed such amazing and classic films like The Shining with Jack Nicholson and A Clockwork Orange which starred Malcolm McDowell. Now when it comes to this film Stanley Kubrick wanted to make a Space movie with very little dialogue to show the audience how quiet it is in space and what it is like to be in outer space. So he cast the actor Keir Dullea To play the main character David Bowman and he did a terrific job with his performance but onset it was pretty hard from him to where the spacesuit because he almost quit due to it being way too hot in the suit to the point that he felt like he was suffocating but he eventually got the scene done. Now it came to Hal 9000 the main villain in the film Stanley Kubrick originally wanted the actor Martin Balsam To do the voice but he's soon replaced him due to Martin balsam sounding way too silly so he wanted someone else to voice the artificial intelligence by giving a nice but really chilling voice so it'll show how corrupted this computer is and the actor so he cast  Douglas Rain Instead he gives one of the most iconic villain performances all  time and one of the best performances in the film. Now when it comes to the scene of the astronauts running around  in a circle Stanley Kubrick purchased a 30-ft long hamster wheel To simulate would like to walk in space so the actors had to walk in time with  that they fall over. Now the ending of the film was originally going to end with aliens but Stanley Kubrick thought that was really dumb so he decided to have the film end with David Bowman turning into the star child so the movie can be more realistic. To be honest I think this is the best movie ending of all time. I know a lot of people said that but it's true this film has had one of the most beautiful endings in film history.  Now The reason why Stanley Kubrick wanted to make this movie is because he was trying to buy outer space because he was worried that another film director would steal his idea and  he was worried that NASA had discovered alien life Because he believed that that would ruined the entire film But unfortunately the court says that Stanley Kubrick couldn't own outer space because legally he could own outer space. Now the iconic black monolith was not supposed to be black because Stanley Kubrick originally wanted it to be transparent and crystallize to resemble something otherworldly. But they had to Change it to Black because of the light glaring with the studio lights and with the actors because it ruined the illusion. Now Stanley Kubrick got mad and demanded it to be painted black so it deflected light much better. Now in order to make the Discovery One Stanley Kubrick ask NASA engineers that help him make the spaceship as realistic as possible he drew inspiration from the Apollo Communicators by making the communication in the ship resemble those in real life. Now when it comes to the space station rotating in the film that's not a special effect Stanley Kubrick actually made a 30 ft diameter model built so in order to rotate it he used a special camera rig so the model can spin around. Now after Stanley Kubrick was done making this movie instead of putting all the props in the storage room like most directors do after they're done make it film Stanley decide to burn and destroy every prop he ever used for this film because he didn't want other directors to steal the idea and make generic sci-fi films because he wanted to keep this film as perfect as possible that that shows how demanding Stanley Kubrick was as a director. So in conclusion I really enjoy this film. The story of just the astronauts traveling through space with very minimal dialogue and just music playing is probably the best thing about this entire film. Also Stanley Kubrick's directing was astonishing. You can tell that he's a very talented and masterful director who came to make the film because he wanted everything to go his way. He didn't want anything to be screwed up and because of him we got one the best sci-fi films of all time. I also like how this film had no CGI, it just relied on practical effects and the effects still hold up. Also Hal 9000 is up there with Darth Vader from the original Star Wars Trilogy as one of the best villains of all time. Also if you haven't seen this movie. Then you really should see it. You will be disappointed with this film. Also I really like how there's not much dialogue, it just uses  music to tell its whole story throughout the film. Also this film is probably up there with Moon as one of my favorite films of all time.  I give this movie a 10/10.

My Ranking of All 6 Actors That Were Considered For the Role of Knull Ranked from Likely to Most Likely to Voice Him

5. Christian Bale

4. Ron Perlman

3. Cillain Murphy

2. Bill Nighy

1. Javier Bardem

Here is My Movie Review of Venom The Last Dance

Here is My Movie Review of Venom The Last Dance

Now what comes to these Venom films I really enjoyed them. I like the first film, the second one is really fun and even better than the first film. Now it comes to this film I watched it I have to say this one is probably the best one out of the Venom films because it provided this Trilogy with a really powerful and amazing ending Which I'll talk about later in the  review.

The story for Venom The Last Dance that it focuses on both Eddie Brock and Venom Are on the run From the symbiote God Knull Who wants the codex that both Eddie and Venom have that will free him from His in imprisonment And they have to do everything in their power to take down these xenomorph like symbiote monsters and save the world and that's basically what the story is for the film. I have to stay out of all the Venom films this one probably has the best storyline out of all of them because there's a lot more steaks to it because these Symbiote monsters that people are trying to kill they are virtually indestructible  even know They killed them another one jumps in and another one and a lot more come to Earth.

Now it comes to the performances in these Venom films. They are really amazing but I have to say this one probably had the best acting out of all of them. I think The acting in this filming is up there with the acting in Sting at one of the best acted films of 2024.

Tom Hardy comes back to play Eddie Brock and voice Venom in this film and I have to say this is probably his best performance as these two characters he was always really terrific as these two characters in the first film and in the second film he was really entertaining in both of them but I think this one he just gives his best performance in the trilogy. Now Eddie Brock as a character is probably even better they was in the first two movies because in this one he has to protect Venom from the other symbiosis who want to catch him and kill him so Knull can be free and kill all the humans and kill Venom And him. So they have to team up with the hippies and Rex Strickland to save the world. The themes with Eddie Brock are probably some of the most entertaining moments in the film whether it is his reaction to writing on Venom at a horse or him saying goodbye to Venom at the end in the third act. It does lead to some really funny and some really emotional moments in the film. Now Venom as a character is also really incredible and probably even better they was in the first two films Because in this film Venom tells Annie that he can't stay in his big form that much because if he does and Knull will find him and try to kill him so he had to stay out of that form and have to remain as a head. Now the scenes with Venom are really interesting and really entertaining and they're probably some of the best moments in this trilogy whether it is him turning into a fish or him sacrifice himself to save Eddie and the hippies from being killed by the other symbionts it does lead to some really powerful and some really sad moments in the film. The chemistry between him and Chewetel Ejiford, Rhys Ifans, Andy Serkis is terrific.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Chewetel Ejiford as Strickland because his performance is really captivating and really fun to watch. You can tell that he's having a lot of fun as this character. Now the character of Strickland is really interesting because He is the villain in the film he wants to capture Venom and experiment on him but as the film goes on and he learned that Knull and his symbiote army is coming to Earth he start to have a change of heart and starts to help Eddie Brock and Venom kill the Symbiance. The scenes with Strickland  are really incredible whether it's him studying the symbiotes. Or him teaming up with Eddie Brock and Venom to take down the other symbiotic; it does lead to some really awesome and badass moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Tom Hardy is remarkable.

Now here is the interesting thing about Rhys Ifans. This is the same actor who played The Lizard in The Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man No Way Home. So it's kind of funny that you have Dr Curt Connors and Bane in this movie but it's not Dr Kurt Connors because he's playing a character named Martin Moon who is hippie and his performance is really fun and really entertaining because I did the key does give a charismatic and entertaining performance in this film. Now the character of Martin Moon is really fun and entertaining. You can tell that he really cares for Ediedd and Venom and wants to help them take down the rest of the Symbiosis  and protect his family. The scenes of Martin Moon bonding with his family or him trying to kill the rest of the Symbiots. It does lead to some really awesome and suspenseful moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Tom Hardy is incredible.

Now the thing that I was looking forward To seeing was Andy Serkis as Knull and I'm going to be completely honest if you're really looking forward to seeing this character you're going to be really disappointed because he does not play a big role because pretty much all the footage you see of Knull he is in the trailer but I think for what Andy Serkis does have i think he does a terrific job voicing Knull because the voice he puts on does sound really creepy and really disturbing. Now the character of Knull is fun to watch. But this was a big missed opportunity because  I expected him to play a really large role in the film and I was hoping he would be the main villain in this film. Now I will say Knull is better than Joker from Joker 2 because that way he is intimidating and the design for the character is dead on accurate to the comics and his origin is also accurate as well in the CGI front looks amazing. I think Knull is up there with Proximas Caesar from Kingdom Of The Planet of the Apes as one of the most entertaining villains of 2024.  He just needs a lot more screen time. The scene where null explains his origin was really fun to watch But I wish he had a lot more themes. To be honest I think he should have gotten his own movie. Or be in a Spider-Man movie as the main villain. Fun Fact actors like Christian Bale, Cillain Murphy, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ron Perlman, Bill Nighy, and Javier Bardem were all considered to voice Knull. The chemistry between him and Tom Hardy is  brilliant.

However, the best thing about this directing by Kelly Marcel is because I love his directing is that  he does that glorious job of giving the Venom Trilogy a beautiful send-off because Eddied had to say goodbye to Venom and move on because Venom had to sacrifice himself to save the world. I also like how he had used Xenomorph-like creatures as the world ending threat because in the first film it was with Riot, in the second film it was Carnage and this film it was more Symbiotes. I also like how he develops more Of both Eddie and Venom because in the first film they had a complicated and in the second movie they kind of ended there really shrimp and they got back together to take down Carnage and in this one they had to team up a long file time to take down the aliens and save the world. Now I did wish he made null the main thought in the film because I think if he did I think the film would have had the best villain out of the trilogy. So I think he kind of messed up by not making null the main melon but I think other than that he did a pretty decent job of giving this Trilogy on send off.

So in conclusion I really enjoyed this film. The storyline revolved around both Eddie Brock and Venom working together for one final time to take down all the other alien symbionts that no one is sending to Earth to try to kill them. It was a brilliant storyline and I think it is the best storyline in the trilogy. The performances are really tremendous for a final film because Tom Hardy gives one of his best performances at both Eddie and Venom. Also Rhys Ifans gave a really Entertaining performance as Martin Moon. Also Andy Serkis For what he does have he does a pretty great job of voicing Knull In the film but I did wish Knull was in the film more because I feel like he needs a lot more to do. Also the ending with really beautiful emotional having Venom say goodbye to Eddie was probably one of the most emotional endings of the entire Trilogy because Eddie has to say goodbye to his best friend. I think this is probably one of the most underrated films of 2024. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you enjoy the other two Venom films that also star Tom Hardy. Then I'm sure you're going to like this one as well. I give this film a 10/10.

Here is My Movie Review of Venom Let There Be Carnage

Here is My Movie Review of Venom Let There Be Carnage

Now when it comes to the first Venom film I really enjoyed it. I think the storyline was really fun and really entertaining, and the performances  were really awesome, especially from Tom Hardy as both Eddie Brock and Venom. So what do I think of this film? Well I got to say it's even better than the first filming because it focuses on the relationship between Venom and Eddie Brock even more than the first one did.

Now the storyline I got to say is really incredible because it takes place after the first movie Venom and Eddie Brock are not getting along they are arguing though Venom decides to ditch Eddie and bond to other people. Then you have this deranged serial killer named Cletus Kasady who is obsessed with Eddie and wants his life story to be redhead and after a bit of altercation at the prison Cletus bites Eddie and abandon symbiote gets inside of him and he becomes them of dangerous send me out known as Carnage and he wants to get married to Francis Barrison Aka Shake. So it's up to Eddie Brock and Venom to take down Carnage and Shrake and fix their friendship and that's basically what the story is for this film. I have to say the storyline of this movie is a lot better than the storyline in the first film because this one develops more of the characters and the story is a lot bigger in scale.

Now the performance  in this movie are actually a lot better than they were in the first film because I feel like the performance in the first film were awesome but I feel like in this one the actor that we stepped it up and some of them actually have a lot more to do than they did in the first film especially one actor in particular.

Tom Hardy comes back to play both Eddie Brock and Venom In the film and his performance is still tremendous because you can tell that Tom Hardy is still into playing these characters and I would say that he did even better in this film than he was in the first film. Now Eddie Brock as the character i have to say is a lot better than they were than the first film because in this film he is clearly trying to set rules for Venom tell him what he can and cannot eat and he wants to try to fix him and Venom's friendship and wants to take down Carnage and Shrake. The scenes with Eddie Brock are incredible whether it is him interviewing Cletus Cassidy or him telling Venom to get out of his house it does lead to some really intense and some really funny moments throughout the film. Now Venom as a character is incredible because in this film he wants to be cared for and wants attention and you can understand why he ditched Eddie because he treated him like garbage but  eventually comes back to help Eddie take down Carnage. Now the scenes with Venom are really fun and really entertaining whether it is the scene of Venom giving Eddie the middle finger or him telling Eddie that they have to go because it is the red one. It does lead to some really funny and some really entertaining moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Naomi Harris,  Michelle Williams,  Woody Harrelson is terrific.

Michelle Williams Comes back as Anne Now even though she doesn't play a big role in the film like she did in the first film she is still really fun and really entertaining as this character. Now Anne is just as fun and entertaining as she was in the first film and this one she's engaged to another guy and she wants Eddie Brock to support her and make her happy. The scenes with Anne are really entertaining whether it is her telling Eddie that she's engaged to another guy or her telling Venom that he needs to make up with Eddie. It does lead to some really fun and emotional moments in the film. The chemistry between her and Tom Hardy is incredible.

Naomi Harris plays Francis Barrison/Shake In the film and her performance is probably one of the over-the-top and probably the most fun performance in the entire film because you can tell that she is having a lot of fun in this film. Now the character of Francis Barrison/Shake is really incredible because you can tell right from the start that she does have feelings towards Cletus Kassidy and she wants to marry him but Carnage wants to kill her. The scenes with Francis Barrison/Shake are terrific whether it is the theme of her meeting Carnage for the first time or her bonding with Cletus Kasidy it does lead to some really awesome and really suspenseful moments in the film. The chemistry between her and Tom Hardy is excellent.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasidy and Carnage. His performance is probably the best performance of the entire film because you're going to tell that Woody Harrelson is having the time of his life playing these characters. Now the character of Cletus Kasidy is just like how he was in the comic, he is a  deranged serial killer but you do kind of feel bad for him because he really cares for Francis Barrison/Shake and wants to marry her and live a happy life with her. But Carnage wanted to kill her because of the fact that he and Carnage are not symbiotic; they didn't bond it together like Eddie and Venom did in the first movie. The scenes with  Cletus Cassidy are really tremendous whether it is him and Shriek preparing to be married or him telling Carnage  not to kill shrink and it does lead to some really intense and nail biting moments in the film. Now Carnage as a character is just like how he is in the comics. He is a really evil symbiote who enjoys killing people and his motivation is that he wants to kill Venom and Eddie. Also the CGI on Carnage worked really awesome especially when he turned his limbs into weapons. The themes with Carnage are probably some of my favorite moments in the film. Whether it is him breaking out of Ravencroft prison or him trying to kill Shrek it does lead to some really horrifying and suspenseful moments in the film. Also the Rivalry between him and Venom is really accurate to the comics because in the comics they fight a lot to the death because Carnage is a lot more evil than Venom. Fun fact Actors like Shia LaBeouf, Ben Foster, Matthew Lillard, Matthew McConaughey, Keanu Reeves, Jessica Chastain, Michael C Hall, Alan Tudyk, Jim Carrey, David Harbor, Sam Rockwell, Keanu Reeves, Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson, Willem Dafoe, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bill Skarguard, and Robert England were all considered to voice Carnage. The chemistry between him and Tom Hardy is perfect.

Now let's talk about the directing by Andy Serkis and this is really interesting because this is the same director who directed Mowgli London on The Jungle which was a really awesome adaptation of the Jungle Book. So how did he do direct in this film well I have to say he did a terrific job directing this film because what I really like about his directing that he did a glorious job of adapting Cletus Kasidy and Carnage because both of them are deranged serial killers because Cletus Cassidy with a serial killer ever since he was the little kid and carnage with and really evil symbiote I did like how he changed it up where they are not symbiotic so that was a really awesome change to the character. I only liked how he developed more of Eddied and Venom Bigger than this film. They are having relationship problems, they are constantly arguing and they have to fix their friendship. I thought that was a really interesting idea and I think he pulled it off really well. So overall I think he did a terrific job directing this film. Now I do find it funny that after the film was  released Andy Serkis will go on to voice the overarching villain Knull In Venom The Last Dance.

So in conclusion I really enjoyed this film because it took everything I liked about the first Venom film and made it better. I like the storyline evolving around Brock and Venom trying to fix their friendship but you also had Cletus Kasidy trying to get married to shrink because he really loved her. I also think the performances are really awesome but check away from both Tom Hardy who is always great as both Eddie and Venom and Woody Harrelson who steal the show as Cletus Kasidy and Carnage. I also think the action sequences were really good. The final battle I will say was better than the climax in the first Venom film. The first movie had a really good climax but this one is a lot better. I think this film is up there with Shang Chi As one of the best movies of 2021. I also think that this film is up there with eternals as one of my favorite films of 2021. I highly recommend you watch the film especially if you enjoy the first Venom film which starred Tom Hardy. I give this film a 10/10.
