Here is My Movie Review of A Million Little Pieces

Here is My Movie Review of A Million Little Pieces

So basically what happens is that it tells the real life story of James Frey Who was this brilliant writer who has suffered through drug addiction he is suffering through depression and he is sent to rehab to try to get over his drug addiction and try to turn his life around  along the way He meets this guy named Leonard  and they do form a friendship it's up to James Frey  To get over his drug addiction and tried to turn his life around and that's basically what the story is for the film. I have to say the storyline is really incredible because that really did happen. James Frey What's the famous writer who suffered through drug addiction and depression So he had to go to rehab to solve his problems.

The acting in this film is stellar because All these actors are giving fantastic and captivating performances because they're essentially playing real life people in this film. I think this film is up there with The Lighthouse as one of the best acted films of 2019.

But the actor that makes this movie brilliant is Aaron Taylor Johnson who gives one of the most powerful and emotional heartbreaking performances of 2019 as this character of Jason Frey because he gives such a raw and remarkable performance in the entire film. Now Jason Frey is probably one of the most accurate characters of 2019 because he is just like his real-life counterpart because in real life Jason Frey was this very successful writer His suffered through depression and drug addiction he felt like there was nothing good about living so he had to be sent to a rehab center to fix himself and get over his drug addiction. The scene where Jason Frey Is in his room is lighting a cigarette and not only is a really sad and depressing moment but it makes sense because he is smoking because he is so down on luck any of worried that he will never get over his addiction of drugs so you can understand why he Smoke in this film because of how depressed and Unhappy hands and this is really accurateTill people in real life there are some people who Suffer through drug addiction because they are unhappy with themselves. It is probably one of the most heartbreaking but really accurate moments in the film because it shows that anyone can suffer through depression.

Someone else I  really like to talk about is Billy Bob Thornton in the film because this guy is a tremendous actor. He has shown that he is very versatile because you could be funny like he is Bad Santa. He can also be really entertaining like in Puss In Boots. But I have to say he gives one of the most emotional and really beautiful performances as the character of Leonard because Leonard as character is really incredible how he wants to help James Frey Try to get over his drug addiction and depression and the bonding between him and James Frey Is the strongest aspect of the entire film. The scene where Leonard tells James Frey it meant that he is scared of being in rehab is not only a really powerful and tragic moment but it makes sense because James Frey is not happy with the idea of him trying to get over his drug addiction. It is probably one of the saddest moments of the entire film. Also I do think he and Aaron Taylor Johnson play off each other perfectly. They have such magnificent chemistry.

Charlie Hunnam Plays Bob Frey Jr. In the film, he gives a really remarkable and entertaining performance. Now the character of Bob Frey Jr. Is incredible because he wants to help his dad get over his drug addiction by sending him to rehab and trying to get him out of his depression. The scene where Bob Frey Jr tells his dad To give rehab a chance and not only are they really strong moments but it makes sense because he wants his dad to get over his drug addiction and get out of his depression and find happiness. It is probably one the most emotional and one of the most beautiful moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Aaron Taylor Johnson is tremendous. I do think they have Amanda chemistry with one another.

Now David Dastmalchian Is a tremendous actor I like him in the Ant-Man films I like him in The Suicide Squad movie. I even like to small role in Oppenheimer Now he doesn't play a huge role in the film but the lucky had he does a glorious job playing Roy you can tell that he is having the time of his life playing this character and I  will say that this is probably his most underrated performance other than entire career and one of the most underrated acting performances of 2019. Now the character of Roy Is really interesting because he's a century in charge of the rehab center making sure that everyone follows the rules there though all of them can get help and solve their problems. The scene where Roy tells Jason Frey about the rehab center and how it works and not only are they really interesting character introduction scenes. But it is accurate in real life because we just sent a rehab. They tell you all about it and how it works and hi it's about to navigate throughout the entire thing. It is probably one of the bestAnd one of entertainment throughout the entire film. Also Him and Aaron Taylor Johnson play off each other brilliantly they have spectacular chemistry throughout the entire movie. To be honest I can see them working together again in another movie. That's how great and how fun  their chemistry was in the film.

However the best thing about this entire movie in the directing by Aaron Taylor Johnson's wife Sam Taylor Johnson Because what I like about her directed that's in the job of tackling the subject of drug addiction and depression because in real life there are people who suffer through addiction problems and need to go to rehab in order to get their lives back on track and try to get over their drug addiction and get over their depression. I also like how she takes it really seriously because drug addiction can be veryDepressing and a really hard topic to discuss, especially when the person is sensitive about talking about it. It could be really hard for them to open up about their problems. I think it is really tremendous of how she did that.

So in conclusion I still really love this movie because of how accurate it really is, the themes about addiction and the person it is based off of that being Jason Frey because in real life he was this brilliant writer who suffered through drug addiction and had to go to rehab to essentially cure himself of his problems. Although all the performances are really tremendous, the two that stand out to me are Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Billy Bob Thornton. These two are really fun to watch in the film and you can tell they had magnificent chemistry with one another. Also to be honest I don't think this movie is as horrible as a lot of people say it is because to be honest there are far worst films in 2019 like Rim of The World And Polar or even more unwatchable than this film because with this film it does have awesome performances and at least it is watchable. I'm going to say this this film is up there with IO with Anthony Mackie add one of the most underrated films of 2019. In fact it is in my top 10 favorite films of 2019. I highly recommend you give this movie a chance before calling it one of the worst movies of 2019. I have to say if you enjoy really powerful and really emotional films like After Yang with Colin Farrell. Then I'm sure you're going to like this film as well. I give this movie a 10/10.

Here is My Villain Review of The Void

Here is My Villain Review of The Void

Now I'm going to discuss the character of The Void who in the main villain in 2025´s Thunderbolts* And explain why he has one of the best MCU villains in phase 5. But all the one of the most realistic villains in the MCU because of what he represents in real life. Also as one of the best villains of 2025.

Origin- Now The Void´s origin is really incredible because he did manifest on his own he manifested from a guy named Robert Reynolds who was suffering with drug addiction and a horrible home life and he was experimented  for project Sentry watch Robert Reynolds did not like being a part of so The Void manifested into his dark and depressing and evil personality and ever since then he's been trying to take over Robert Reynolds And make him really depressed and lonely. I have to say the film does a glorious job of giving The Void a tremendous backstory because Robert Reynolds is a person that was really depressed because he did have drug problems he did have a bad home life he was tortured in a lab so you can understand why The Void  wants to take over him and control him.

Character- Now The Void is Is one of the most scariest villains in the MCU but also were the most realistic villains in the MCU because he essentially represent something that we all been through we all been depressed and lonely and having that be his theme of being evil just making everything dark and depressing is really incredible and I think the film did a glorious job of making the void really horrifying but also really realistic because you could say we all been taken over by The Void because we have been depressed we have been lonely in our lives. So it is actually a really awesome analogy for loneliness and depression. Not to mention The Void is also a thing we can be scared of because everyone has been feeling scared of being lonely and depressed.

Motivation- Now The Void´s motivation It's probably one of the most disturbing villain motivations in the MCU because he essentially want to cause Bob more misery and pain and have Having him be depressed and lonely forever and never be happy again in just relive his miserable life over and over again and kill all of his friends which is probably one of the most realistic villain motivations in the MCU because  depression and loneliness can get the better of you and you become more unhappy as a result. I think the film did a magnificent job of giving The Void a really dark but really realistic villain motivation in the MCU.

Best Scenes- Now The Void doesn't come in until like the third act of a but when he does He makes his presence now if I had to pick my favorite moment with The Void it will be the scene where he says to Bob You thought you were gonna to be some great man? Some savior? You can't even save yourself. We will always be alone. Not only is it really dark and really scary but it makes sense because the void wants to have Bob to himself so they could be all alone together and Bob could be depressed and lonely all throughout his life. And it is probably one of the most disturbing MCU villain monologues in phase 5. It is all thanks to Lewis Pullman's really dark and incredible performance.

Evil Deeds- Now The Void does a lot of evil and disturbing things in the film like he constantly manipulates Bob into becoming depressed and lonely so they can stay alone together so he can never be happy again. He also vanishes all of New York with his powers by sending them to The Void where he lives Which is essentially A dark and depressing place which is exactly what he represents in the film loneliness and depression. I think The film did a tremendous job of making The Void really evil and really horrifying at the same time because the things that he does are really disturbing because he essentially almost put the world into darkness and almost ended it essentially.

Conclusion- The Void is a fantastic villain. His backstory is really dark and really disturbing but really interesting because he's essentially Bob's evil and disturbing counterpart and his evil personality who doesn't care about anything just plunging everything into  darkness. He is also the most realistic MCU villain because he references loneliness and depression which everyone can suffer through. People can be depressed or lonely and I think The Void does a magnificent job of representing what those feelings are. Also The Void´s motivation is really dark and really incredible how he wants to torture Bob and make him depress and lonely all the time so he doesn't become happy ever again and plunge everything in the darkness. Also that monologue he gave to Bob is disturbing but one of the best monologues in the MCU. It is all thanks to Lewis Pullman's powerful and haunting performances. I think The Void is up there with Cassandra Nova from Deadpool and Wolverine as one of the best villains in Phase 5. I think The Void is up there with Alvin Knuckles from Love Hurts as one of the best villains of the 2020s. I'm going to give The Void a 10/10.

Here is My Movie Review of Constantine 2005

Here is My Movie Review of Constantine

So basically what happens is that you have this guy named John Constantine who has the supernatural abilities to perform exorcisms on people who are possessed by evil spirits and battles the supernatural creatures. Then one day he finds out that there this woman named Angela Dodson who found out that her twin sister who has mysteriously killed herself and you'd like worried about what is going on so she decided to enlist  John Constantine's help to figure out what really happened to her sister why she would take her on life. But then you have Gabriel who wants to Bring hell to Earth so she summons Lucifer and he goes on a murder spray and summons demons and Supernatural creatures to kill innocent people and take over their bodies. So it's up to John Constantine to take down Gabriel and Lucifer  and save the world and prevent the demons from taking over. That is basically what the storyline is for the film. Now I do the storyline does work really well the idea of John Constantine taken down evil spirits and Demons is accurate to the comics.

Now the acting in this movie a lot of people have brought up that this movie has not really great acting but I think for the most part they do well for what they're given I do think that this film needed a different lead actor but even the lead actor I think for the most part he doe okay job as this character.

Now let's talk about Keanu Reeves. He is a great actor. He has done a lot of tremendous films. Now even in this film I think he did a decent job as John Constantine because I think he does pull off the seriousness of the character from the comics and he is entertaining in the role.  Now I know a lot of people have brought this up but I definitely agree with this I do think Keanu Reeves is really miscast as this character because he doesn't put on a British accent he mostly uses an American accent and it does not really work I do think they should have used Jude Law who is actually British because he does look like the character and I will say when he was younger I think Jude Law would have been a perfect John Constantine  i will say though I don't think Keanu Reeves is that horrible as Ryan Reynolds and Green Lantern from Green Lantern 2011 because that one it felt like he was just playing himself. Well at least with this one there are bits and pieces of Reeves acting like the character from the comics even though it's completely different.  I will rather watch charms rather than fucking Ezra Miller as The Flash because I fucking hate that guy because he is annoying as the Flash he's not funny well at least with Keanu Reeves he is serious just like the character is from the comics. Now the character of John Constantine is relatively accurate to his comic book count part because he does fight demons like he does in the comics and this film does get his origin right and he does smoke and he doesn't crack any joke so I think from like a riding point of view i do think this film does get John Constantine right for the most part there are bits and of like a different character but I think for the most part he was entertained to watch he had the descent character that being he has to help  Angela Dodson Figure out how her twin sister asked killed herself but he also has to take down Lucifer in order to go to heaven and I think that character is decently handled I think it could have been a little bit better but I think for the most part it does work for this type of movie. The scene where John Constantine is battling this demon that is made out of bugs Is not only Is it really dark in disturbing moment but it makes sense because John Constantine have to banish this demon back to hell to prevent it from killing more people on earth because he is essentially a demon Hunter to prevent Hell from coming to Earth. It is probably one of the most entertaining moments in the entire film. Fun fact actors like Nicolas Cage, Heath Ledger, Ewan McGregor, Jude Law, Guy Pierce, Jason Statham, Mel Gibson, Kevin Spacey, Tilda Swinton, Tom Hardy, Idris Elba, Cillian Murphy, David Tennant, Brad Pitt, Tom Hiddleston, Michael Fassbender, Adam Driver, Paul Bettany were all considered to play Constantine. The chemistry between him and Rachel Weisz, Shine LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton, Djimon Hounsou and Peter Stormare Is decent.

However  the biggest standout of the entire film is Rachel Weisz as Angela Dodson  because she gives a really masterful and captivating performance and I think she gives the best performance of the entire film. Now the character of Angela Dodson  Is really incredible because you really feel bad for her because you want to figure out why her twin sister ended up killing herself so that's why she enlist John Constantine's help to figure out why her sister would end up ending her life essentially. Now the scene where Angela Dodson  Is telling John Constantine that her sister has killed herself is not only a really dark moment and really disturbing but it makes sense because she wants to know why her own sister will take her own life. It is probably one of the creepiest moments of the entire film. The relationship between her and John Constantine is the strongest aspect of the entire film. The chemistry between Keanu Reeves is pretty great. I do think they have awesome chemistry with one another.

Now let's talk about Shia LaBeouf. To be completely honest I am not the biggest fan of this actor. I just don't find them entertaining now are a few movies that I do enjoy him in Like The Peanut butter Falcon and Honey Boy, Surf’s Up. But I did not like him in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull because I just did not find them funny as Mutt. I just found him really annoying and really unfunny. I will say in this movie I do think he is pretty tolerable as the character of Chas Kramar because he does give a decent performance and the character. Now the character of Chas Kramar is really interesting because he doesn't play a big role in this film but he serves as John Constantine's cab driver and apprentice because he wants to learn how to be a Demon Hunter just like him. The scene where Chas Kramar and john Constantine get Angela Dodson out of the bathtub and trying to get the demon out of her it was the best moments of the entire film in fact it's one of my favorite moments because He wants to help  Angela Dodson  Figure out what caused her sister to end her own life. The chemistry in between him and Keanu Reeves is really terrific because I did think they do have awesome chemistry with one another.

Djimon Hounsou  plays Papa Midnite In the film. Now I will say that he does a great job in the country and gives a really fun and entertaining performance. Now the character of Papa Midnite is really interesting because he is John Constantine's mentor because he wants him to control his power and not have them go out of control and wants to help him prevent hell on Earth from happening. The scene where  Papa Midnite tells John Constantine that he's playing a dangerous game and not only are they really off them and suspenseful moments but it makes sense because John Constantine is battling the supernatural which is a very dangerous job. It is probably one of the most Nail by the moments of the entire film. The relationship between John Constantine and  Papa Midnite Is really interesting. It's one of the most interesting aspects of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Keanu Reeves is fantastic.

Tilda Swinton plays Gabriel in the film. I have to say she gives one of the creepiest but really entertaining performances of the entire film. Now the character of Gabriel Is really creepy But interesting as well because her motivation is that she wants to have hell on Earth and have all the demons kill off all of the humans so she can rule the Earth on her own. The scene where Gabriel grows wings and she is trying to kill John Constantine is a really disturbing and really nail biting sequins because she wants to rain on Earth and have all the demons kill all the humans. It is probably one of The most haunting moments of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Keanu Reeves is awesome.

Peter Stormare Plays Lucifer in the film. I have to say I think he does a terrific job Playing Lucifer because you can tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character. Now  the character of Lucifer is really creepy like how he's supposed to be because he had essentially the devil in this film. I think this film does capture the devil pretty well as a really threatening and really intimidating villain. The scene where he introduces himself in the third act and says hi John and tries to kill John Constantine it was a creepiest but one of the best action sequences in the film. The Rivalry between him and John Constantine is decent. I  think the movie did a great job of building up their relationship really well for the most part. The chemistry between him and Keanu Reeves is pretty good. I think they have really fun chemistry with each other throughout this movie.

The directing by Francis Lawrence it's interesting because I think he does a decent job directing this film because he gets  some stuff right but  a couple things are wrong as well. Now I will think he does get the tone of the comics right because of the really dark comic book series so the darker tone of this film does work to the film's benefit because this movie gets really disturbing As it goes on. Although I did think he died they did a great job with the Supernatural elements to the film like the designs of the demons and the look of hell it looks really amazing. But the thing you get the wrong is John Constantine because Welkie gets his origin right. The thing he gets wrong is the characterization because Constantine is not American he is British but The fact that he gave John Constantine an American accent is really weird so I do what she got someone else to play the part. I did think he did a decent job of developing the characters Because all the characters are really fun and really entertaining. So I think he did an okay job directing this film.

So in conclusion I still enjoyed this film.  I did think the storyline is really interesting as it revolved around John Constantine trying to help  Angela Dodson figure out why her twin sister has killed herself and he has to take down Gabriel and Lucifer. I i think most of the acting is really great now yes Keanu Reeves is miscast as John Constantine because I will say I think this should have gotten someone like Jude Law or David Tennant to play the characters that they can actually give John Constantine a brush accent just like how he is in the comics. but we'll say that he does a good job playing the character. I would rather watch him than watch Ezra Miller as The Flash because that performance is very unbearable to sit through. This at least is entertaining to sit through. Now I think the character of John Constantine is relatively accurate to the comic books because he is serious, he doesn't crack any jokes, and he doesn't take nonsense from anybody. Also the special effects and the cinematography are really awesome, specifically the design from the demons look really cool, especially the one that's covered in bugs. I do think it's really interesting to see Tilda Swinton play a comic book villain and I think she was relatively entertaining as Gabriel. Also the action sequences are really fun which is a really good especially that final battle against Gabriel and Lucifer it was really entertaining to watch I was at the actual thing was in this film are better than the action Sequences in Kraven The Hunter because it is actually rated and it doesn't cut away from anything it shows everything on screen. I do think this film is up there with Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantum Mania as one of the most underrated comic book films. Now it's not a perfect film. I still think Tilda Swinton needs a little bit more screen time. Also I did take, the writing could have been a little bit better. But other than that I will say  this film Is fun but flawed. But I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you enjoy underrated comic book films like Captain America Brave New World with Harrison Ford. Then I'm sure you're going to like this film as well. I give this movie a 7/10.

Here is My Movie Review of Parallel

Here is My Movie Review of Parallel

So basically what happens is that you have these four friends and one day they are hanging out Trying to invest in money for their startup company. But then one day one of their friends goes to this mirror in the end of in a different universe and at first it doesn't seem that bad. but little did they know that this Universe does has Sinister secrets and they have figure out a way to get out of the universe but either dealing that they slowly start to turn against each other so it's up to Them to get out of the parallel universe and get back to their regular Universe and that's basically what the storyline is for this film. I have to say the storyline in this movie is actually tremendous because the idea of entering another parallel universe and  making you go crazy is an actually really interesting and really fun concept and the film executes that really well.

The acting in this movie is terrific because this is a film with a bunch of unknown actors. I find that really interesting Kathy was unknown actors can't lead to some really all of them and terrific performance is in all these actors do a fantastic job playing their characters. I think this film is up there with Love & Monsters as one of the best acted films of 2020.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Georgia King as Leena Because she gives one of the most entertaining one of them with captivating performances of the entire film. Now the character of Leena Is a really incredible character because She wants to help her and her friend's startup company be a huge success but she also wants to get out of the parallel universe and get back to her own universe before things become out of control. The scene where Her and her friends stumble upon a wall while looking through it  and they find out what's behind the wall. Not only Is it really chilling but it makes sense because Leena Wanted to know what is behind the wall. It is probably one of the most important moments of the film because it foreshadows events that happened later on in the film. The chemistry between him and Aml Ameen, Martin Walstrom, and Mark O'Brien is terrific.

Aml Ameen plays Devin in the film and his performance is probably the most incredible performance of the entire film because he does such a fantastic job playing this character and you can tell that Aml Ameen is having a lot of fun in the film. Now the character of Devan is really incredible because he wants to help his friends get out of the parallel universe and get back to their own universes. The scene where Devin And his friends are questioning about what is going on with this other Universe that they're going to and not only is it a really suspenseful moment but it makes sense because he doesn't know what is going on with this parallel universe that he is going with his friends. It is probably one of the most incredible moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Georgia King Is tremendous.

Martin Walstrom plays Noel In the film. I have to say he still does a glorious job as this character Because he gives one of the law and one of the most incredible performances of the entire film. Now the character of Noel Is remarkable because he want to try to help his friends get out of this parallel universe and get back to their own original Universe before they get stuck in there forever. The scene where he and his friend are looking for Josh is not only a really powerful and remarkable moment but it makes sense because he is worried about one of his friends being lost so he and his other friends are trying to look for him. It is probably the most showing moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Georgia King Is perfect.

Mark O'Brien plays Josh In the film. I have to say he still does a spectacular job as this character. Now the character of Josh is terrific because he wants to help  his friends get out of the parallel universe and get back to their own universe. The scene with Josh sees a reflection of themselves from an Ultra universe. It was the creepiest moment of the entire film because he didn't know that there was another variant of him in the Multiverse in that parallel universe that they were in. It was actually one of the showing moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and  Georgia King Is brilliant.

However the best thing about this movie is the directing by Isaac Ezban Is terrific because what I like about his directing that he thor discusses the idea of what if there are parallel universes and what if it's possible to travel to universes across the Multiverse so the really great idea like the idea event of events possible to go different dimensions I think he execute that concept perfectly so overall I think he did a glorious job of Directing the film.

So in conclusion I still really enjoy this film because the storyline revolves around four friends entering a parallel universe and trying to get back to their own Universe. Well try not to kill each other is a brilliant concept in the film that executes that perfectly. Also the performances were all really awesome. The two stand out performances were from Martin Walstrom and Georgia King Because those two had amazing and terrific chemistry with one another. I think this film is up there with Color Out Of Space as one of the most underrated films of 2020. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like weird films like Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio. I give this movie a 8/10.

Here is My Movie Review of Chronicle

Here is My Movie Review of Chronicle

So basically what happens that you have these three teenagers named Andrew Detmer, Steve Montgomery, and Matt Garetty and they are like hang out and one day they stumble upon this hole and they go into it and they find that thing that grants them superpowers and the 3 of them are just pulling pranks on random people they're just having fun but eventually it growth out of control to the point that Andrew Detmer goes crazy with his powers and start killing people so it's up to Matt Garetty To stop Andrew Detmer From killing more people and that's basically what the story is for this film. I have to say the storyline revolving around teenagers getting superpowers and trying to keep them under control has a lot of potential and the film executes this brilliant concept of people having super powered it's like what if you had powers in real life and he had to learn to control them now as a sexually what this movie shows.

The acting in this movie is terrific. I still think everyone is really entertaining and two of the three actors in this film were going to play Marvel villains in two different Marvel films which is really interesting. You have two marble actors in this movie and they are both really fun and entertaining and as their characters.

However the absolute big standout of this entire movie is Dane DeHaan as Andrew Detmer and he gives one of the most  captivating performances in the entire film because you can tell that he is having a lot of fun out of this character. Now the character of Andrew Detmer  Is really interesting because at first he is the good guy in the film he starts to develop his powers and he wants to learn how to use his powers responsibly but I had the phone goes on he starts to become more unstable which results in him abusing his powers and going off the rail then starting to kill innocent people I think the film handled his turn into Madness perfectly because he was tired of being pushed around by everyone including his dad. The scene where Andrew Detmer Is in the hospital and use his telepathic powers to kill his father is probably one of the most messed up moments of the entire film but it makes sense because he was tired of his dad treat him like garbage so he took his hang around and used his powers to kill him. It is probably one of the most disturbing moments of the entire film because his dad treating him like garbage was his breaking point in madness. The chemistry between him and Alex Russell and Michael B Jordan is perfect. I  think the three of them do have perfect chemistry in the film. They do work well with each other and I did their chemistry and the strongest aspect of the entire film.

Alex Russell plays Matt Garetty In the film and his performance is really incredible because you can tell he's having a lot of fun playing this character. He  probably gives one of the most entertaining performances in the entire film. Now Matt Garetty Other character is really interesting because he's essential like the voice of reason of the group he's telling them to be responsible with their powers and not go out of control he's got like the smart one of the group he knows what he's doing he doesn't let his powers get the best of him I think making him like the wise one on the group in this film was a really great idea because you're the one that is trying to hold his friends together without a in them going insane. The scene where Matt Garetty  Is trying to tell Andrew Detmer Calm down and not kill any more people is the darkest and most suspenseful moment in the film because Matt Garetty is trying to tell Andrew Detmer not to kill more people because he wants them to stop eating his powers. It is probably one of the most haunting moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Dane DeHaan is magnificent because I do think they play off each other perfectly.

However my favorite performance in this entire film is Michael B Jordan as Steve Montgomery because he gives one of the most captivating and one of the most fun performances of the entire film and you can just tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character. Now the character of Steve  Montgomery Is incredible because at first he enjoys having superpowers but I had the phone go on. He is worried that the power they have is making him and his friends unstable and he doesn't want to use his powers anymore. The scene where Steve Montgomery tells Andrew that he doesn't want to have superpowered it is not only a really dark moment but it made sense because he is worried that  killed a lot of innocent people. It is probably one of the most brutal and heartbreaking moments of the entire film because Steve is kind of sick of having power if he wants to live a normal life. Now Andrew tells him that having power will solve all your problems. The chemistry between him and Dane DeHaan Is perfect.

Now let's talk about the directing which is the weirdest thing about the film because this film is directed by Josh trank who directed Capone and Fantastic Four 2015 which both movies were really bad. But I have to say this is the only good directed film that he has done because he really takes this concept of what would it be like to have superpowers  In real life and have someone go out of control with them and He does execute the concept perfectly and gives all three characters really powerful and emotional character arcs because all three characters have really unique and interesting personalities Matt is the voice of reason the film he's like the level head one. Steve is the one that's kind of worried but he enjoys having fun with his friends. And then Andrew is like the tough one. He enjoys having these powers and he doesn't want them to go away. He was one of the most unstable ones in the group. Overall I think he did a magnificent job directing this film.

So in conclusion I still really enjoy this film because the storyline is really unique for a film having these teenagers gang superpowers and slowly start to become unstable and unable to control their powers as it is a unique concept and the film executes it perfectly. I Also like how the film is a found footage superhero film and found footage movies are very rare because we don't really see enough of those movies. I still think Michael B Jordan and Dane Dehann had amazing chemistry throughout the entire film. I think this is up there with Marvel's The Avengers as one of my favorite films of 2012. I also think that this film is up there with The Town as one of the most underrated films of all time. I highly recommend you watch this film especially  if you like really dark and intense films like Prisoners with Hugh Jackman. I give this movie a 10/10.
