Here is My Movie Review of Five Nights At Freddy's 2

Now it comes to the first Five Nights at Freddy's film. I thought it was really fun and really entertaining. The animations looked really accurate to the games. So I watched this film and it was a slog to get through because nothing was scary. It was all just a boring exposition that I didn't even care about. This is probably one of the dumbest films of 2025. Well, it's not as dumb as War Of The Worlds. It is still a bad movie because nothing much happens. Now this is going to be a really different review because I'm going to explain not only why this movie is boring but also why it is a horrible sequel to the first film.

Now the storyline is just so dumb because it's just not that interesting it focuses around Mike and his sister Abby and a pair away the animations come back because Abby misses them and then William Afton's son Michael Afton who wants revenge on them for the death of his dad and it's up to them to survive against the animations and that's it I mean the stuff that happens between Mike and Vanessa is just really boring. 

Positives- I will say I think the animations still look really good. They look exactly how they're like in the games even the toy variants of the animations look really good. Also the performances are really fun Josh Hutchinson still does a terrific job as Mike and Piper Rubio Still gives a really fun child performance as Abby. Also the voice actors who voice the animations like Megan Fox as Toy Chica, Kellen Goff as Toy Bonnie, Matt Patrick as Toy Freddy. Also the bonding between the animations and Abby is still entertaining. Also the poster to this movie looks really cool with the animations forming the number two. That is it those are my only positives that I have about this movie. 

Negatives- This film is really boring because nothing much happens then when something does happen you simply do not care about anything that happens in this film. Also this film is not scary it just has generic jump scares. To be honest I'm going to say this the show Marvel Zombies was 1 million times more scarier than this trashy film because you see the violence people die in very horrific ways by the zombies and the show does not hide the violence it Blatantly tells you what they're going to do they're like you know what we're going to show you all your favorite MCU characters die a horrible death and you're going to feel bad for them. But with this film it chicken out and they didn't do anything with the death even the death scenes themselves like in concept they could have been really cool if the movie was rated R because you can tell that this film is PG-13 now with the first film I was able to excuse it because I enjoyed that first film but with this film no I can't give it a pass because it's PG-13 so in that regard the PG-13 ruins the film. So the fact that a Marvel zombies show was able to be more scary and was able to push the violence. That's sad when an MCU TV show is able to be more violent and scary than a 2025 Horror movie. It just shows that this movie was a dumb idea from the start because the first movie was already good enough that we didn't need a crapey sequel. Not to mention there are so many stupid moments in this film The Worth Moment is where the group of teenagers decide to film a video of them looking for I guess evil spirits in Freight Father Bears Pizzeria and they split up and obviously 2 out  three dumb teenagers die And it's not even scary it's just very dumb and really cheesy to the point that it kind of reminds me of the way people died in the movie Firestarter 2022 that's how dumb the kills are in this film. Also the scene of Vanessa and Mike arguing throughout this movie it just drags on to the point that you're just watching the scene and you're like I don't care this is boring can we move on to something else. Also the Expedition is so bad it just drags on and on to the point that you don't care. Now Movies and TV shows can have  expeditions like movies like Sinners, The Long Walk, The Shining, Love Hurts. You know what even Marvel zombies had better exposition than this trashy film because they didn't drag it out they got right to the point because the characters are like okay we're going protect you Ms Marvel and help you survive the zombie outbreak and the fact that that show and though the other movies i mentioned deliver better exposition than this film. That is sad when an MCU Marvel show gives better exposition then a trashy 2025 horror movie that just showed that this movie failed with the exposition big time. Also the ending to this movie is so dumb the final confrontation with Michael Afton who wants the revenge on Mike for the death of his father which is so dumb Because the animations turn against him and for some reason can continue his father's Legacy which does not make any sense and it just comes off very boring and really dumb. Also the jokes are not funny. This movie tries to be funny and it fails on a multitude of levels to be honest Marvel zombies were a lot more funnier. Then this stupid movie was and that's sad when an MCU show has more funny jokes. This film tries to be funny and fails miserably. 

Conclusion- I hated this movie the only positives I had were the performances and the look of the animations and the voice cast who voiced the animations. But other than that I thought the film was boring. The jokes were not funny. It was not even scary it just had horrible jump scares and I'll say again Marvel Zombies was more scary and more funny than this stupid piece of shit of a movie. Also the villain Michael Afton is one the dumbest villains of 2025 I would say The Red Queen AKA Wanda or I as like to call her the red bitch from Marvel Zombies is way more fucking scary than the villain is in this movie and that is sad when a Marvel MCU show has better scares, better characters, and it was a lot more funnier than this film. That just shows how much this film sucked. Also the way people die was so dumb it's all off screen you don't see any blood or body parts so they just essentially made this into a generic PG-13 horror movie. Seriously I can go on for millennia as to why I hate this film but in the end I'll leave you with this. This is one of the dumbest horror movies of 2025 and one the most unnecessary sequels of 2025. It is up there with Until Dawn. This is one of the dumbest horror movies of 2025 and it is also up there with Firestarter as one of the dumbest horror movies of the 2020s. I say skip this movie and go watch Marvel Zombies. It's much scarier. It has better characters and it's actually funny and they actually show all the violence and the deaths of those characters. Or even go watch The Long Walk with Mark Hamill because that film is actually scary and you feel bad for all the characters who really died in the film and had a much better storyline. So I give this film a 2/10.
