Here is My Movie Review Of Superman

Here is My Movie Review Of Superman

Now when this movie was announced I was really excited because the last couple Superman movies weren't really that good, Man of Steel was just boring and not interesting Batman versus Superman was unwatchable. So I saw the film and this did not disappoint me because this is one of the best Superman films we have had in a long time and it fixes most of the problems I had with the Zack Snyder Superman films because they were really dark and depressing. This film is light-hearted but it has steaks to it.

So basically what the story is for this film is that you have Superman who has been Earth for 3 years and he is going around caring for the sessions of Metropolis but then Lex Luther decides to ruin Silverman's reputation by seeding a message that his parents said that he was always tasked to take over the world and he doesn't want to believe that and the whole reason why Lex Luthor  wants to do this is that he want to start a war with the Batavia and Jarhanpur the the two countries can try to kill one another and it's up to Superman to take down Lex Luthor with the help of the justice gang and save the world and that is basically what the storyline is for this film.  I have to say out of all the Superman movies this one has either way the best storyline because I didn't really care for the storyline man steel and the storyline Batman versus Superman was just a mess. Well this film has won the easiest and one of the most entertaining storylines out of any comic book film of 2025.

Now as terrific as the storyline is for this film either way the thing that makes this movie perfect are the performances because out of all the Superman films this one easily has the best acting out of all of them. Also unlike the Zack Snyder Superman films the performance is not boring they're actually really tremendous and really entertaining to watch.

However the actor that steals this entire film is of course David Cornsweat who absolutely nailed it as Clark Kent/ Superman and something that he succeeds that Henry Cavill failed a dealing add the character is actually emoting because Henry Cavill was just so depressed and unhappy and that's why he didn't really care for him at the character. Well in this film David Corn sweat does make you care about Superman and he does a magnificent job playing the character and you could tell that he is having a ton of fun in this film. In fact I will put him up there with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine from the X-Men movies as one of the best superhero casting choices of all time. That's how perfect he was as this character. Now the character of Clark Kent/ Superman is perfect because he actually saves people, he doesn't kill anyone and he really cares about everyone and wants to protect Earth from other potential threats that might be looming throughout the universe. They also make you feel really bad for him because you know the town starts to hate Superman because of what Lex Luthor put out in the world and it makes him question if he wants to continue to be Superman or stop and that is actually the strongest aspect of the entire film. The scenes with Clark Kent/ Superman Are magnificent and really fun to watch and something that the Zack Snyder filmed failed at Dylan is making the scene's memorable here in the film I can remember a lot of the scenes with Superman whether it's him fighting Ultraman or him talking to the adopted parents or him meaning metamorpho all those moments are really fun to watch and I am looking forward to seeing what David Cornswent is going to do going forward as this character. The chemistry between him and Rachel Brannahan, Nicholas Halt, Nathan Fillion, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Maria Gabriela, Skyler Gisoondo  is outstanding. I think all the actors have terrific chemistry with one another.

Rachel Brannahan plays Lois Lane in the film And her performance is magnificent in fact I think she is a lot better than  Amy Adams as Lois Lane in the DC extended Universe because that one was just there to be rescued he didn't really do anything in the Zack Snyder Superman films just really boring and really bland. Now the character of Lois Lane is perfect. She is very sharp and very sassy just like how she is in the comics. She doesn't take nonsense from anybody and she does care about Clark Kent / Superman even though they do argue. They still really cared about one another. The scenes with Lois Lane is perfect whether it is her meeting meant Mr. Terrific for the first time or her interviewing Superman, it does lead to some really powerful and emotional scenes in this film and the relationship between Clark Kent/ Superman and Lois Lane is the strong point of the entire film. The chemistry between her and David Corn Sweat is perfect because I can tell that both of them were having a lot of fun in the film.

Nathan Fillion Plays Guy Gardener / green Lantern i have to say I have all the performances he is probably my favorite performance in the entire film because you can tell that Nathan feeling is having a lot of fun playing this character and I have to say he is more accurate interpretation of Green Lantern is a lot better than the Ryan Reynolds one from 2011's Green Lantern because that one would just overly silly and you couldn't take him really seriously at all. Now the character of Guy Gardner/Green Lantern is accurate to the comics because this Green Lantern is very arrogant. He thinks he's better than everybody and that's what makes him really funny in this film. But he also wants to help Superman stop Lex Luthor so as well as being funny he does have a heart in this film in his own way. The scenes with Guy Gardner/ Green Lantern are really incredible wheather in the scene where he is reacting to lowest Lane saying that he had a really bad haircut or the theme of him fighting the giant Kaiju with Superman or him saving the people of Jahanpur. It does lead to some funny moments but some really exhilarating and powerful moments in the film as well. The chemistry between him and David Corn sweat is outstanding.

Edi Gathegi is really interesting because this is the same actor who played Darwin in X-Men First Class and I thought he was very bland and forgettable in that film. But luckily in the film he gives a tremendous and captivating performance as Michael Holt/Mr Terrific and you can tell that he is having a lot of fun playing this character. Now the character of Michael Hoit/Mr Terrific Ignorating because he's shown to be really intelligent and he wants to help Superman take down Lex Luthor and I like how he wasn't overly silly and he was a brilliant leader to the Justice League Gang. I am really looking forward to seeing what they're going to do in the future with Mr Terrific in this new DCU. The scenes with Michael Hoit Mr terrific are really fun and really amazing whether it is the scene where Michael Holt/Mr. Terrific Is going around saving people or is him introducing himself to Superman doesn't lead to some really fun action sequences and some really strong character moments as well. The chemistry between him and David Cornsweat is magnificent because you can tell that both of these actors are having a lot of fun in this film.

Maria Gabriela plays  Angela Spica/The Engineer  and her performance is really incredible and really fantastic to watch because she does a glorious job of making the engineer really intelligent and really intimidating at the same time. Now the character of Angela Spica/The Engineer   is really incredible because she basically is Lex Louthor's help throughout the entire film and she wants to help like the cause of the War between Batavia and Jarhanpur so both of the countries can kill each other and try to kill Superman. The scenes with Angela Spica/The Engineer are really terrific and really nail biting and suspenseful whether it's the scene of her and Lex Luthor attacking the Fortress of Solitude or her controlling Ultraman to kill Superman it leads to some really fantastic and really intense action sequences throughout the film. The chemistry between her and David Corn Sweat is excellent.

Skyler Gisoondo plays Jimmy Olsen in the film and his performance is really fun and really entertaining to watch. Now the character of Jimmy Olsen is really fantastic because unlike the one Batman versus Superman who just dies this one actually has screen time and has stuff to do because he had actually a really light-hearted character he really cares about Superman as his friend and he wants to help Superman prevent the war between between Batavia and Jarhanpur from killing each other. As well as stopping Lex Luthor from destroying the world. The scenes with Jimmy Olsen are really incredible and really spectacular whether it is the scene with him interacting with Eve or him interacting with Lois Lane, it does lead to some really incredible and really captivating moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and David Corn Sweat is magnificent.

Anthony Carrigan voices Rex Mason/Metamorpho In the film and his performance is probably one of the most powerful and one of the most emotional performances in the entire film and out of all the performances he is probably my second favorite performance in the entire film. Now the character of  Rex Mason/Metamorpho is really incredible because you really feel bad for him because Rex Mason / Metamorpho because he is actually being manipulated by Lex Luthor and if he doesn't help him he will kill metamorphos son Joey and he turned against Lex Luthor after Superman tells him that you don't need to follow his orders and that causes Metamorpho to have a change of heart. The scenes with Rex Mason/ Metamorpho are really emotional and really beautiful to watch whether it is in the scene where Metamorpho is bonding with his baby Joey or him  turning against Lex Luthor does lead to some really fun and really captivating moments in the film with this character. I am looking forward to seeing what they're going to do with Menomorpho in the future in the DCU. The chemistry between him and David Corn Sweat is spectacular.

Now let's talk about Nicholas Holt as Lex Luthor. To be honest, the only actors I enjoyed playing Lex Luthor were Gene Hackman and Clancy Brown, and Gian Carlo Esposito because I did not really care for Kevin Spacey's Lex Luthor. I thought he was just really dull and really boring. I hated Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. I thought that one was really annoying and really stupid. Now as for Nicholas Holt who plays Lex Luthor in this film I thought he did a terrific job playing this character because you can tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character. Now Lex Luthor as a character is really interesting because he is just like how he is in the comic sees smug he's petty and jealous of Superman getting all the attention and his motivations are really interesting because he wanted to paint Superman in a bad light he wants to cause the countries to start World War III with Batavia and Jarhanpur. The scenes with Lex Luthor really incredible and really fantastic whether it is the scene of Lex Luthor breaking into the Fortress of Solitude or him  gun up to a random person's head and shoot them point blank and kills him the other way to some really suspenseful and really chilling moments throughout the film. Also the film does a remarkable job of making you hate Lex Luthor because you really want something horrible to happen to this character and luckily something does happen to him he gets attacked  by Krypto the Super dog and gets arrested. I  think Lex Luthor  is up there with The Leader from Captain America Brave New World as one of the most entertaining villains of 2025. Now there were scenes where Lex Luthor would raise his voice but it was actually really good but in the last half and the third act of the he was just yell everything and acted like a man child with him  screaming but it wasn't as bad as Kylo Ren from Star Wars the Force Awakens. Now I do think Gene Hackman's Lex Luthor is better written because that actor felt more experienced playing the character while Nicolas Holt was fun to watch but it wasn't The best Lex Luthor of all time. He was still fun to watch. Now I will say unlike Jesse Eisenberg this one looked the most comic accurate and In terms of the design and personality of Lex Luthor. The Rivalry between him and Superman is perfect just like how it is in the comics.  The chemistry between him and David Corn Sweat is marvelous.

Now as Gloria's as the acting was in the film either way the the best thing of this entire film is the directing by James going because he knocked out of the park he really understand who's Superman is as a character he represents hope he didn't make Superman a deranged psychopath like Zack Snyder did in his movies. I also like how he developed the relationship between Superman and Lois Lane because he didn't make it stereotypical when they or won't they get together. No  he actually balanced their romance really perfectly like how it is in the comics. I also liked how he fixed the problems with the previous Superman films, like being too dark making Superman into a killer lack of care development. All of that is fixed in the film including the depiction of Lex Luthor. I also like how he develops the character of Metamorpho and makes him a really tragic and sympathetic character and I'm looking forward to seeing what good deals with this character next in his new DCU. So overall I think he did a magnificent job directing this film.

So in conclusion I really love the film. It had a very awesome and unique storyline for a Superman movie. Having a revolve around Silverman questioning his purpose in the world while trying to prevent war between two countries is a very unique concept for a Superman movie and the film executes it perfectly. The performances are tremendous especially from David Corn Sweat as Superman and I am really much looking forward to seeing what he's going to do as Superman in this new DCU.  Also the action sequence is where I made the especially that file valid against Superman Ultraman and the engineer. Also I am mentally terrific and Guy Gardner/Green Lantern are probably one of my favorite characters in this entire film. Also both Nathan Fillion and Edi Gathegi play the characters perfectly and have amazing chemistry with one another. Although I like how this film fixes all the problems that the Zack Snyder Superman films had by being too dark and makes this one light-hearted but it still had higher stakes to it. I also think Lex Luthor well I don't think is as perfect as the Clancy brown one. But he was entertaining as the villain  and the movie did a A remarkable job of making you hate him and all the things are really awesome especially Where he tells its crew to control Ultraman again to kill Superman and The whole thing of him trans Superman like garbage is probably one of the most accurate things of the entire film is probably  the  dark scene to watch in this entire movie. I think Lex Luthor is up there with The High Evolutionary From Guardians of the Galaxy volume 3 as one of the best villains of the 2020s and one of the best villains that is really fun to hate. I highly recommend you go see the film and dare you not be disappointed because it's the most comic accurate Superman film of this decade. I think this film is up there with Thunderbolts* with Lewis Pullman as one of the best films of 2025. I give this movie a 10/10.

My Ranking of All 3 Quiet Place Films Ranked from Great to Tremendous

My Ranking of All 3 Quiet Place Films Ranked from Great to Tremendous

3. A Quiet Place Day One

2. A Quiet Place

1. A Quiet Place Part II

Here is My Movie Review of A Quiet Place Day One

Here is My Movie Review of A Quiet Place Day One

Now when this movie came out i have harried really good things about this film but here's the thing i am never seen these movies so I watched A Quiet Place and then I watched a Quiet Place Part II and both movies are tremendous Especially A Quiet Place Part II and that one is my favorite out of the  franchise. So I watched the film and I really enjoyed it. It was really fun but I did think part II is better than the film but I still think that this was an awesome prequel.

So basically what happens is that you have this woman named Samir who has cancer and she learned that the Apocalypse is coming. It is the first day of the world being attacked by these things called death angels who are these aliens that are very sensitive to allow noises and if you make any noises they will kill you. So she has to team up with this guy named Eric and the two of them go on a survival mission to avoid being killed by the death angels and that is basically what the story is for this film. I have to say the storyline in the film is really interesting now I will say a Quiet Place Part II had a better storyline but I will say that this one is really fun and really interesting to follow.

Now much like A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II the acting in this movie is still tremendous and even though it focuses around two actors they both do a tremendous job in this movie playing these characters. I think this film is up there with Deadpool and Wolverine and one of the best active films of 2024.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Lupite Nyong´O as Samir And her performance is tremendous because she gives the one the most emotional and one of the most captivating performances in the entire film. Now the character of Samir is incredible because you really feel bad for him because she is dealing with cancer she's experimenting day one of the apocalypse of the death angels brutally killing people because they are making a lot of noise and you can tell that really horrified because she doesn't want to be killed by the death angels and she wants to survive against them the best she can. The scenes with Samir are tremendous whether it is the scene of her meeting Eric for the first time or trying to outrun the death angels. It does lead to  some really emotional and some really heart pounding moments throughout the entire film. The chemistry between her and Joseph Quinn is astonishing.

Now let's talk about Eric played by Eddie Munson himself Joseph Quinn and his performance is incredible because he gives one the most masterful and one of the most marvelous performances of the entire film because you can tell that Joseph Quinn is having a lot of fun as this character. Now the character of Eric is remarkable because you can tell that he really cares about Samir  and wants to help her survive against the death angels and survive the apocalypse. The scenes with Eric are really tremendous whether it is him In the building fighting off against the death angels or bonding with Samir  it does lead to some really nail biting and some really emotional moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Lupite Nyong´O  is tremendous because they have really strong chemistry throughout the entire film.

Now let's talk about the directing because this  interesting thing about this film now this one is not directed by John Krasinski Instead it is directed by Michael Sarnoski Who is the same director who directed Pig and i liked his directing with that film  Because I like how he made that film really dark and really emotional and entertaining all at the same time. Now in this film that is no different because I still think he does a glorious job directing this film because he makes the character Samir really sympathetic because this isn't the character that is going through cancer she has to learn how to survive the apocalypse and avoid being killed by the death angels and I think he did a magnificent job of developing this character. I also like how he developed the character of Eric who is a law student who wants to help  Samir  survive the apocalypse. So overall I think he did a terrific job directing this film.

So in conclusion I still really enjoy this film, the storyline revolving around Samir trying to survive day one in the Apocalypse and dealing with cancer and avoiding being killed by the death angels with the help of Eric. I think this storyline is really fun to follow. I will say though I think A Quiet Place Part II had either way the best story out of the franchise. Also the performances are really good from both Lupite Nyong´O and Joseph Quinn; those two have spectacular chemistry throughout the entire film. I also think that this film is up there with Deadpool and Wolverine with Hugh Jackman as one of my favorite films of 2024. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like A Quiet Place Part II with Cillain Murphy. Then I'm sure you're going to like this one as well. I give this movie a 10/10.

Here is My Movie Review of Wind River

Here is My Movie Review of Wind River

To be completely honest I have heard about this film but I have never seen it. I never saw the trailer. I watched people review the vet online and they were saying how awesome this film is. So I watched the film and I have to say this is not only one of the best films of 2017 but it is also one of my favorite films of that year. Also I'm going to say this is the Snowman done right this is what the Snowman with Michael Fassbender should have been like really emotional and really awesome instead of being a big mess and just really boring.

So basically what happens is that you have this guy named Corey Lambert and he is this big game Hunter And he is going through a lot because his daughter tragically died and he's trying to get over the lost of her and trying to move on and one day he finds this dead body in the snow so he unless this FBI agent named Jane Banner and she agrees to help Corey Lambert and then he meets this guy named Ben Shoyo and the three of them have to truck through The snow in In this Native American place called Wind River in Wyoming to figure out who killed the woman while on top of that trying to take care of his friend Ben Shoyo who is also been going through a lot because the Native Americans have been mistreated by the government and he wanted to do everything in his power to have the government not prejudice against his race and that is basically what the story is for the film. I have to say this is probably one of the best story lines of 2017 because it shows the tragedy of what it's like to live in Wind River Wyoming.

The performances are really tremendous now even though there are a lot more actors than in the film. We mostly just focus around three characters and the three actors that we focus on give really powerful and really captivating performances because this is probably the best acting of 2017.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Jeremy Renner as Corey Lambert because he gives such a raw and tremendously captivating performance and to be honest i didn't see Jeremy Renner in this film I saw Corey Lambert on screen I didn't even see the actor so that's how magnificent renard's performance was in this filming probably gives one of the best performances of his entire career. Now the character of Corey Lambert is magnificent because this is a guy that you can tell who is really broken his family is gone he's by himself he's trying to figure out who killed this random woman he also wants to help his friend Ben Shoyo fight back against the government that has been trading Native Americans like garbage. Also the scenes with Corey Lambert are terrific whether it is the scene of him talking to James Banner or him just walking in the snow searching for the killer or him just looking at his family's pictures all of it leads to throwing them with powerful and some of the most beautiful moments in the entire film. To be honest I can watch all of Corey Lambert's scenes because they are just that Exhilarine to watch. The chemistry between him and Elizabeth Olsen, Graham Greene is remarkable.

Elizabeth Olsen also gives a  terrific performance as the character of Jane Banner because she gives such a raw and fantastical performance in the film. Now the character of Jane Banner is incredible because unlike Corey Lambert who is used to trucking through the cold weather in Wyoming well Jane Banner is not used to the code but I had the film goes on she starts to learn how to survive through The snow and helps Corey Lambert figure out who has killed the woman. The scene with Jane Banner magnificent whether it is the scene where Jane Banner mid coil Lambert for the first time or them trekking through the snow investigating dead bodies every single theme with Jane Banner is so incredible and so much fun to watch and to be honest I can watch her scenes all day that's how excellent they are. The chemistry between her and Jeremy Reiner is astonishing because you can tell that both of them are having a lot of fun in this film.

Graham Greene  plays Ben Shoyo in the film and his performance is spectacular because he gives one of the most emotional and one of the most beautiful performances of the entire film. You can tell that he is having a lot of fun in the film.  Now the character of Ben Shoyon is really tragic because you really feel bad for me because the government has mistreated  the culture of the Native Americans and he wants to help Corey Lambert figure out who has killed the woman. The scenes Ben Shoyon are terrific weather it is him tracking through the snow with Jane Banner or him and Corey Lambert  on the swings and just talking to one another It's probably one of the most beautiful moments of the entire phone because it did they be brilliant job of capping off this really beautiful and emotional film. The chemistry between him and Jeremy Renner is incredible.

However the best thing of this entire film in the directing by Taylor Sheridan Because why I love about his directing is that he does that Gloria's job of developing the character Corey Lambert because this is a guy who's been through a lot his wife and daughter are no longer with him he wants to figure out who killed this random woman and he also wants to help his friend Ben Shoyon Fight back against the government because he and kind that being the Native Americans has have been mistreated by the government and he wants to put stop to it. I also like how he tackled the subject of racism and discrimination because this movie focused on the Native Americans and at the end of the film it said most of them are missing. That's really dark and disturbing because that actually happens because a long time ago most people killed the Native Americans and still their resources. So it was a really dark and disturbing time in US history. So I am happy that he treated the subject really seriously. So overall I think you did a tremendous job directing this film.

So in conclusion I still really love this film because the storyline is such a really powerful and emotional storyline about a guy that has been going through a lot because this guy Corey Lambert had lost his family has to figure out who killed this random woman he has to team up with an FBI agent. He also has to help his friend Ben Shoyo  fight against the government to stop the prejudice and bigotry and poor treatment of the Native Americans. Also the performance says are tremendous especially from Jeremy Renner he completely disappears into this role of Corey Lambert to the point that I only see the character rather than the actor that's how that's how perfect his performance was in this film. Also this film is up there with Wonder Woman and one of the best films of 2017. In fact this is my number one favorite film of 2017. It's easily number one of my top 20 favorite films of 2017. I also like how it discusses the subject matter of racism and discrimination because back in those times it was really dark for Native Americans how people like William Hale would poison them and kill them and steal their resources. I'm happy about how serious this film took that subdemand because it is a very harsh subject to talk about. I highly recommend you watch this film and you will not be disappointed, especially if you like Killers of The Flower Moon with Robert De Niro. Then I'm sure you're going to like this one as well. Now I must warn you this is not an Ed film  to watch because it has a lot of gruesome sequences that go on. I give this movie a 10/10.

Here is My Movie Review of A Quiet Place Part II

Here is My Movie Review of A Quiet Place Part II

Now when it comes to the first Quiet Place film I really enjoyed it. I thought it was a really smart and really affected horror film about this family trying to survive the apocalypse. It did a terrific job of developing all the characters it made and made you care about them. Now when it comes to this film and out of the two films this is my favorite one because it takes everything I enjoyed about that first film and makes it better and more fun and a lot scarier but also a lot more dramatic than that first film.

So basically what happens is that we focus on the Abbott family Trying to survive against the apocalypse in the death angels and also trying to help other people survive through the apocalypse and they meet this guy named Emmett who is this loan Survivor who doesn't believe he has any help inside of him anymore and it's up to the kids to protect Evelyn from being killed by the Death angels. That's basically what the story Is for this film and I have to say not only the storyline really awesome but it takes the first storyline and kind of a roll reversal because in the first film it was all about Lee and Evelyn protecting the kids and in this film it's about Reagan and Marcus trying to protect their mother essentially and the baby. I think this is one of the best storylines of the entire franchise.

Now as excellent as the storyline is the performances or just as fun if not better then they'll performance is in the first film because well I thought the acting the first film was terrific I think this one they really stepped it up Then we because these characters actually go through a lot more And they had to take responsibility by the by themselves because their dad Lee is dead because he sacrificed himself in the first film.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Millicent Simmonds who comes back as Regan Abbott and her performance is incredible because well I like her in the first film i think in this film she really steps it up they give Reagan a lot more to do in the film than she did in that first film because you could say she's the main character of this film and I think it was a terrific idea of making her  the leader of her family. Now the character of Regan Abbott Is Marvelous because in this film Reagan Abbott is sort of the alpha in this film she's the one that's laying her family to safety and even though she only talks a little bit she does get scared a lot in this movie and there are moments where she has to Protector younger brother Marcus from being killed by the death angels as well as try not to get killed herself and She is probably one of my favorite characters of the entire franchise Because you can tell that she had a live heart she wants to protect her family at all cost. The themes of Reagan Abboot are tremendous whether it is her meeting Emmett for the first time or it's her fighting off the  death angels or is her bonding with her family it leads to some of the most powerful and one the most emotional and also some of the most disturbing stuff in the entire film. Also you can tell that Millicent Simmonds  is having a ton of fun as this character. The chemistry between her and Cillain Murphy, Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, Djimon Hounsou is terrific.

Now let's talk about Cillian Murphy. Look, he is a tremendous actor whether you saw him in  28 Days Later, The Dark Knight Trilogy, or his Oscar winning film Oppenheimer, or Red Eye. Now when it comes to this film it is no different Cillain Murphy still gives a terrific performance as Emmett  and I have to say out of all the performances he is actually my favorite performance in the entire film because you can just tell that Murphy is having the time of his life as this character. Now the character of Emmett is actually my favorite character of the entire film because this is a guy who is really Hearded and he doesn't believe he has any help inside of him Because he lost his wife and his entire family and he wants to help Regan Abbott Survive the Apocalypse and fight back against the death angels. The scenes With amit are probably some of my favorite moments in the film whether it is the scene where he coping with the lost of family or him trying to get to the boat to get to the island to find more Survivors of the Apocalypse every single scene with this character is really powerful and really incredible to watch. To be honest I would have loved to see a movie that focused around Emma and his time with his family during the apocalypse. The chemistry between him and Millicent Simmonds is spectacular.

Noah Jupe Comes back as Marcus Abbott In the film and his performance is terrific because well I liked his performance in the first film i think in this film he actually gave the better performing than they did in that first film because he actually steps it up and it's giving a lot more to do as the character of Marcus Abbott. Now the character of Marcus Abott Is really interesting because well I like them in the first film I have to say he's a lot more incredible in this film because in this one Marcus Abott Has to essentially take over his father's legacy because he died in the first films that he said we have to carry on his father's Legacy well protecting his family and preventing them from being killed by the Death Angels. The scenes with Marcus are really incredible whether it is Him taking care of the baby or him battling the death angels at a bar it leaves to throw the more powerful and one more heart pounding moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Millicent Simmonds is spectacular.

Emily Blunt comes back as Evelyn Abbott  In the film and her performance is really interesting because I said that she was the big standout of that first film. She is still really fun and she does a glorious job as the character. Now Evelyn Abbott Are the character is really excellent because in this film she's still tries to protect her kids from the death angels but but she mostly reliant on her kids to take care of her in the baby because in the first thing she had to take care of the kids and this one the kids have to take care of her and I think that would Interesting roll reversal having a kid to take care of the adults in this film. The scenes with Evelyn Abbott are really fantastic whether it is her experiencing day one of the Apocalypse or it's her taking care of her baby well bonding with her two kids. All of her moments are incredible; they range from really heartwarming to really heart pounding and suspenseful moments throughout the entire film. The chemistry between her and Millicent Simmonds is terrific.

Now let's talk about Djimon Hounsou because  he is a terrific actor. He was really awesome in the MCU as Korath. He was also really incredible in How to Train Your Dragon 2 as Drago Bludvist. He was also in Gran Turismo. I thought his performance in that film was really fun and really captivating to watch. Now in this film that is no different because he has also given another terrific and fun performance as Henri In this film. Now Henri as a character is really interesting because you don't really see this character until the third act but when you do he is actually a very remarkable character because he has taken care of people who have survived during the apocalypse And they live on this island with him. The scenes with Henri are  really fun  to watch Whether it is him telling Emmett how he lived on the island or is he explaining how he is taking care of all of these survivors does lead to some really fun and really heartwarming moments. But I wish we got to see more of his life during the apocalypse. Now I do wish he got a little bit more screen time. Other than that he is still a really fun and really entertaining character. The chemistry between him and Cillian Murphy is perfect.

However the best thing about the entire film is the directing by John Krasinski because I really loved his directing in that first film how he developed the Abboot Family and How he managed take this concept of people living in an apocalyptic world for a monster that would kill you if you make too much noise and make it worth a scariest things you will ever see in a film and and make it really incredible and make you Care about the characters. Now obviously he came back to Direct this film I have to say his directing is even better than it was in this first film because what What I really love about his directing is that he develops More of the family because in this film Marcus has to Take over his father's Legacy and take care of the baby and Survive against the Death angels. But the character that gets the most development I have to say it's actually Regan because in the first film she did play a role in it having her survive with her family but she wasn't the main character in that one it was her mother Evelyn. But in this film Regan Is essentially the main character she has to learn how to be the alpha of her family just like her mom was in that first film you know she's very protective over her younger brother Marcus and their baby and even though she doesn't talk that much She still gets scared there will be moments where Regan wants to scream really loud but she knows if she does the death angled would come after her So I think John Krasinski A terrific job of developing her at the character. But I  like how he developed the character of Emmett because he was a guy who lost his family and everything he's been very hardened he has been very closed off with his feelings and just doesn't feel like telling evelyn and her family once been going on with him and I think he did a glorious job developing this character. So overall I think John Krasinski  did a magnificent job directing this film.

So in conclusion i still really enjoyed this film in fact I think I like it better then the first film because well I enjoyed that film I just like how this one develops more the characters and the storyline is a lot better and a lot stronger than that first film Because that's when we focused on Regan trying to be like her mother being the alpha of the family as well as Marcus trying to be like his dad being the leader of the family trying to take care of the baby and protect his family. Also I like Emmett as a character out of all the characters he was my favorite in the entire film because you really understand why he doesn't express much emotions because he lost everything because his family died and he doesn't take nonsense from anybody. To be honest I would love to see a whole movie focus around Emmett and his family during the apocalypse. I think it would be really fun to have to give Cillain Murphy his own movie in this franchise. Also the performances are tremendous particularly from Millicent Simmonds as Regan  and Cillain Murphy  as Emmett because those two give really captivating and really fun performances. I still think that this is in my top 3 best films of 2021. I still think the film is up there with Spider-Man No Way Home Tom Holland as  one of my favorite films of 2021. This film is also in my top three favorite films of 2021. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like the first Quiet Place film which also stars Emily Blunt. Then I'm sure you're going to like this film as well. I give this movie a 10/10.
