Here is My Movie Review of Knights of The Zodiac 

So basically what happened today you have this guy named Seiya The Pegasus Knight Who participates in the fighting tournament and his recruited by this guy named Alman Kido tells him that he to be The Knight of the Zodiac in order to take down This woman named Vander Guraad and Nero The Phoenix Knight who wants   Athena's powers to destroy the universe and It is up to Seiya The Pegasus Knight  To take down  Vander Guraad and Nero The Phoenix Knight  and find his sister and save the universe and that's basically what the story is for this film. Now the storyline in this movie is really awful because the way I can sum up the story is to the lousy and boring rip off to Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The only difference being that that movie had a better storyline and it actually Interesting Well the storyline in this film is so long and not interesting to follow whatsoever. 

The acting in this movie is probably one of the worst his the worst acting of 2023. Now yes I'll say it. This is even worse than all the actors in Ghosted. As much as I hated that movie I think that one still was the most boring movie of 2023. But At least There was one good performance in that film that being Ryan Reynolds. But this film has no good performances whatsoever. 

Probably the worst performance in this entire film is Mackenyu as Seiya The Pegasus Knight. His performance is just so dull so forgettable that just feels like he is sleepwalking. But the character of  Seiya The Pegasus Knight is so bland and terrible because all he does is question what's going on. Also he can't even hold himself in a battle because he  gets his butt kicked even in the training montage. Probably the worst scene with Seiya The Pegasus Knight  is where he is fighting Jaki The Beast In the fighting tournament and it comes off as a absolute rip off to the scene and Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings where Shang Chi is fighting his sister Xu Xialing In the tournament. But the only difference being that that scene was actually more entertaining. Well in this movie it comes off as bland and the carbon copy of that scene. But  only if it was done really badly. The chemistry between him and Madison Iseman, Sean Bean, Famke Jensen, and Diego Tinoco is average.

Madison Iseman plays Athena In the film. I have to say she is really horrible in the film. I feel like she's sleepwalking through her performance and not giving a shit about what she's doing. It just feels like she did this movie to get a simple paycheck. Now the character of  Athena is so dull and so flat all she has is to serve as the love interest to Seiya The Pegasus Knight And the romance between them does not work whatsoever to be like I think the romance between Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne from the Ant-Man trilogy with a lot better because they develop their relationship from the first film all the way up to the third film. Also Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly had a way better chemistry because you actually did buy them as boyfriend and girlfriend but in this film you just simply don't. Also the scene where  Athena Loses control over powers and I'm just here thinking the movie Eternals did that a lot better with the character of Ajax because she was trying not to kill her team but eventually she had to sacrifice herself to save the team from the deviance. The only difference being that that movie did a lot better while this movie did not have any effort in that scene whatsoever. Also there is a scene where Vander Guraad  tries to kill Athena is was so dumb because it is an absolute rep off to the scene where Kang tries to kill Cassie in front of Scott Lang in Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantum Mania The only difference being that it was much more darker and served a purpose in the story. Well in this film it just comes up very cheap and lazy. The chemistry between her and Mackenyu Is decent.

Famke Jensen plays Vander Guraad In the film.  I have to say she is really boring and flat in this movie. What's really disappointing is that Famke Jensen Is it really fantastic actress especially if you watch her in Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters. She gets a really dark and scary performance as Muriel. But in this film she is just really flat and I feel like she's just sleep walking throughout her performance and she's not even trying. Now  the character of Vander Guraad Is so bland and so boring and her motivation just so cliche she wants power to destroy and that's it. She doesn't have a character arc. She's just boring and just one of the Worst villains of 2023. The chemistry between her and  Mackenyu is fine. 

Diego Tinoco plays Nero The Phoenix Knight In the film. I have to say he was really bad in this movie and just felt like she was sleepwalking through it. Also the character of Nero The Phoenix Knight Is so bland he's just there to be a henchman to Vander Guraad  and that's all he is here to do and then for some reason it is revealed that he is the main villain of the film which was really dumb and really strange. Probably the worst scene with Nero the Phoenix Knight is when he and Seiya The Pegasus Knight are battling and it is a absolute rip off to the final battle from Shang Chi and The legend of the Ten Rings where Shang Chi and his father Xu Wenwu are battling in Ta La. But the only difference is that  the final battle in that film had tension and stakes well this one does not at all. The chemistry between him and Mackenyu Is okay. 

Sean Bean Plays Alman Kido In the film. I have to say he  is really awful in the film. Now the character of Alman Kido Is nothing, he is just there to give exposition and give Seiya The Pegasus Knight  advice on how to harness his power and that's all he does in the film and he is so forgettable that I actually forgot he was even in the movie. That's how forgettable he was in the film. The chemistry between him and Mackenyu Is decent. 

The directing by Tomek Baginski  It's probably the worst thing about this movie because I feel like he doesn't know anything about the source material of the anime because in the anime  The characters are about to be Japanese but in this film there all Americans. I feel like he tries to make this movie like an MCU movie because of the lot of stuff in the film  rips off a lot things from both Ant-Man the Wasp Quantum Mania. But it mostly rips off Shang Chi and the Legend on the Ten Rings down to the martial arts tournament the final battle and the power that the main character has. I feel like he should have just made this movie like the anime down to the character and their personalities. 

So in conclusion this is my worst film of 2023. Yes I said it I hate this movie more than Ghosted with Chris Evans because at least with that film it has a good performance in it. But this film does not follow anything from the anime. It tries to be like Shang Chi And the Legend of the Ten Rings. But fails to be entertaining as an adaptation. Also I'm going to say that I hate this movie more than Death Note 2017 because as horrible and horrendous that the movie is it had one redeeming quality that was Willem Dafoe ´ s performance as Ryuk. This movie had no redeeming qualities about it whatsoever. This film just tries to be like an MCU film. In fact I would rather watch Black Widow again than to ever watch this film again because as much as I found that movie frustrating. It had good things about it. It was just very underwhelming to sit through. This movie is more unwatchable than that film. Just skip it. Go watch Shang Chi And The Legend of The Ten Rings from 2021 or go watch Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantum Mania with Paul Rudd because at least you'll be more entertained with those two films than you'll be with this garbage mess of a film. I give this movie 0/10.
