Here is My Movie Review of Nope

Here is My Movie Review of Nope

So basically what happened you have this guy named OJ Haywood and his sister Emerald Haywood who are horse trainers In hollywood  and then decide to take their horse to a fair to sell their parents´s horse and then made this guy named Ricky Jupe¨ Park  and tells them that he was in this show called Gordy's home But he tells them that the show with canceled due to Gordy  killing people. But then they start to see a weird shape in the sky and they realize that it is a UFO named Jean jacket who is set to invade plant earth and it does so they have to do everything in their power to drive it away from earth and prevent from sucking up everything on the planet and that is basically what the story is for the film.

The acting in this movie is still tremendous. I still think everyone does an awesome job as the characters.

Daniel Kaluuya plays OJ Haywood in the film. I have to say he still does a marvelous job at this character. What makes OJ Haywood such a spectacular character is that You can tell from the start he knows that there is something dangerous coming to Earth. He really wants to prevent it from coming to earth. Probably the best moment OJ Haywood Is where he  is outside of the middle of the night and he hears weird noises in the sky and he believes UFO not only was it really dark but it makes sense because he believes there's something deadly coming to earth and it's probably the one and the most intense moments of the film. The chemistry between him, Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun Is still really fantastic.

Keke Palmer plays OJ Haywood´s sister Emerald Haywood. I have to say she still does a spectacular job as this character. What makes Emerald Haywood such a remarkable character is that  much like her brother OJ, she also wants to prevent Jean Jacket from coming to earth and destroying it. Probably the best scene with Emerald Haywood Is where she and OJ and Angel Thorres are filming a video to see Jean jacket and not only is it really suspenseful but her reaction makes sense because at first you did believe her brother OJ that there was a UFO. But when she sees that you can just see the shock and terror on her face and it is probably the most intense moment of the entire film.  The chemistry between her and Daniel Kaluuya Is still excellent.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Steven Yeun as Ricky Jupe¨ Park. What makes Ricky Jupe Park Such a incredible secondary villain is that he believes that he can Tame anything so his motivation is that he wants to train and control Jean Jacket to get under his control. I also love his backstory because when he was young he used to be an actor on this TV show called Gordy's home and he used to bond with Chimpanzee named Gordy but unfortunately due to Gordy going crazy they had to cancel the show and ever since then he's been able to bond in control animals so you can understand why he wants to get Jean Jacket under his control because he believes that he can tame anything. Probably the best scene with  Ricky Jupe¨ Park Is where he sees jean jacket and he believes that he can tame it and not only was it really dark but it made sense because he believes that he can tame anything to get it under his control. It is probably the most suspenseful scene in the entire movie.

Now Gordy in the film is basically the overarching villain of the movie not the main villain but he is really entertaining because he used to be Ricky Jupe¨ Park´s Best friend on the show called Gordy´s Home. I also still think he has a really great motivation because all he really wants is to have Ricky Jupe¨ Park to continue to be his best friend. Probably the best scene with Gordy is the way he approaches Ricky Jupe¨ Park about giving him a fist bump but unfortunately he gets shot and killed and not only is it a really emotional moment but it made sense because he really cared about Ricky Jupe¨ Park. It is probably the most powerful and saddest moment in the entire fountain.

However the main villain Jean Jacket is astonishing because what makes Jean Jacket such an outstanding villain is that you don't really see it that much because at first it is a cloud but as the film goes on it is revealed as a UFO and then by the final battle of the film it is revealed as this alien being. Also Jean Jacket´s motivation Is not only really dark but it makes sense because it basically wants to suck up and engulf everything on planet earth so it can survive by eating smaller things. Probably the best moment with Jean Jacket is where it emerges from the clouds and starts sucking people into it and not only was it really disturbing but it made sense because it wanted to devour everything on earth. It is probably the most disturbing scene in the entire film. I still think Jean Jacket is up there with the Grabber from The Black Phone, one of the best villains of 2022.  I still think it is one the best villains of the 2020s.

Now the directing by Jordan Peele is beautiful because what I like about him directing that he does outstanding job of He tackles the subject of the possibilities of aliens being real because in real life there are people that have cited a UFO in the sky and milling the people are trying to think of what aliens might do when they come toward they might take us away or they're just watching us and  Observing of what we do. I still think it is incredible how he did that.

So in conclusion this was a perfect and entertaining film. I love the storyline of OJ and Emerald trying to take down Jean Jacket. I also like how the film does not boil the reveal of Jean Jacket that it keeps it really secret and once you see it in its full glory it is worth the wait. I also like  Ricky Jupe¨ Park´s backstory of how he had this sweet and emotional bond with this chimpanzee named Gordy and it is one of the most tragic villain backstories in a horror film that I have ever seen. I also still think that Jean Jacket is up there with Queen Gudrun from The Northman as one of my favorite villains of 2022 as one of my favorite villains of the 2020s. This is also in my top 10 favorite horror movies of all time. I still think if you like The Black Phone with Ethan Hawke you'll definitely like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
