Here is My Movie Review of Shark Tale 

So basically what happens that you have the fish named Oscar who works at the well wash and he and love with Angie but he feels like he has a nobody So he decides to lie that he has a shark lawyer and he gets all this fame but then you have this shark named Don Lino who think that Oscar is responsible for the death of his son Frankie so he decides to get revenge on him and kill him and it's up to Oscar to tell the truth and fix everything and that is basically what the story is for this film. 

Now a lot of people say that the voice acting in this movie is not really good but to be honest I 100% disagree with that statement. I still think all the actors do a great job as their characters. 

Will Smith voices Oscar in the film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. Now the character of Oscar Is really interesting because Well yes he is lying and being narcissistic. But at the same time you understand why he is doing it because he feels like he and nobody who hasn't accomplished anything and once he pretends that he is a shark slayer  he gets all the fame and attention. Probably the best scene with Oscar is when someone tells them that they are sharks near the reef and he says that he will go take care of it and he goes down in the elevator starts crying and not only was it funny but it made sense because he pretended to be brave but in reality he was scared. It is probably one of the funniest things in the film. Fun fact actors like Denzel Washington, Samuel L Jackson, Mr T, Snoop Dogg, Djimon Hounsou, Eddie Murphy, Terry Crews, Martin Lawrence, Michael Jai White, Wesley Snipes, Shaquille O´Neal, 50 Cent, Usher, Keith David, Terrence Howard, Bernie Mac, Anthony Mackie, Louis Gosset Jr., Yasiiin Bey, Eddie Griffin, LL Cool J, Delroy Lindo, Ving Rhames, Larenz Tate, Kadeem Hardison, Dennis Haysbert, Xzibit, Donald Faison, and Morris Chestnut were All considered to voice Oscar. The chemistry between him and Jack Black, Renee Zellweger, Angelina Jolie, Robert De Niro, and Vincent Pastore Is still fantastic. 

Jack Black voices Lenny In the film. I have to say he still does a remarkable job as the character. What makes Lenny such an interesting character is that he's not like the other sharks that eat fish. He is really nice and down to earth and doesn't want to be like his brother Frankie. Probably the best moment with Lenny is when he is at this restaurant with his dad Don Lino and he tells him to eat the shrimp but he doesn't want to. Not only was it really emotional but it makes sense because he didn't want to eat the shrimp. It is probably the most powerful thing in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jack Black is awesome. Fun fact actors like Adam Sandler, Kevin Costner, Steve Burton, Kevin Kline, Timothy Hutton, Vincent D´Onofrio, Michael J Fox, James Flemny, Zach Braff, Sylvester Stallone, Josh Hartnett, Casper Van Dien, Albert Brooks, Steven Seagal, David Foley, John Goodman, Nicolas Cage, Keanu Reeves, Will Ferrell, Leonardo DiCaprio, Owen Wilson, Brad Pitt, Nathan Lane, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Myers, George Clooney, Jim Carrey, Peter Weller, Ray Romano, Tom Guiry, Billy Crystal, Jerry Seinfeld, Ardal O´Hanlon, Jay Mohr, Cheech Martin, Cary Elwes, Loan Gruffudd, Dan Shor, David Dunchovny, Michael Dudikoff, Hank Azaria, John Leguizamo, Christians Slater, and Scott Bakula were all considered to voice Lenny.

Vincent Pastore Voices Don Lino´s henchman Luca in the film. I have to say he still does an amazing job as the character. Now Luca isn't really evil, he mostly is there to serve his boss Don Lion. Probably the best scene with Luca is where he says to Don Lino Oh Hey boss what are you doing working at pizza joint and then Don Lino says ¨Get off the phone¨ Then Luca says but I'm hungry.¨ Not only was it really funny but it made sense because Don Lino Doesn't work at a pizza place. It is probably the funniest moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Will Smith is still marvelous. Fun fact actors like Tom Hanks, Michael Gambon, Red Buttons, Jonathan Banks, Kevin Pollak, Stellen Skarkard, Eric Stoltz, Dom DeLuise, Michael Imperioli, and Christopher Walken were all considered to voice Luca.

Renee Zellweger voices Angie in the film. I have to say she still does an excellent job as the character. What makes Angie's such an interesting character is that while she really cares about Oscar at the same time, You can see why once he becomes famous she gets mad at him for cheating on her with another woman. Probably the best moment with Angie is where she says Oscar  the truth and you go home and not only was it really funny. But it made sense because she wanted Oscar to tell the truth of what he lied and see why we needed to leave because she didn't want him around. Also the romance between Oscar and Angie works really well. You can tell that they really love each other but at the same time Their relationship isn't going well because Oscar is getting all the fame and he is not really spending time with her. The chemistry between her and Will Smith is marvelous.

Angelina Jolie voices Lola In the film. I have to say she still does a spectacular job as the character. What makes Lola such an interesting secondary villain is that at first she seems really nice but then it turns out she only likes Oscar because he is rich and then she betrays him for cheating on her with Angie and then at the end of the film she tries to apologize. Probably the best moment with Lola is where she finds out that Oscar cheated on her when Angie and she says let me explain something and she where he beats him up by ramming his face into the window and not only was it really funny but it makes sense because she was mad at him for rejecting her and being with Angie instead of her. The chemistry between her and Will Smith is still wonderful.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Robert De Niro as Don Lino. What makes Don Lee  such an incredible villain that you can understand why he hates Oscar because he believes that he was the one that was responsible for Frankie's death. Also he wants his son Lenny to be like his brother Frankie really mean and be like a real shark. Probably the best moment with Don Lino is where he says I want to know everything about him.¨ I want to know where he lives I want to know where he sleeps.¨ and not only was it a great way of dark humor but it makes sense because Don Lino will do anything in his power to avenge his son's death. Now by the end of the film Don Lino does redeem himself except his son Lenny of what he wants to be and it is probably the most powerful moment in the film. Done Lino is probably up there with Dave from Penguins of Madagascar and one must sympathetic DreamWorks villain. The rivalry between him and Oscar is still fantastic. The chemistry between him and Will Smith is outstanding. Fun fact actors like Kevin Spacey, Rupert Everett, Peter Greene, Hal Landon Jr, Charles Dance, Billy Zane, Gerard Butler, Grieg Kinnear, John Malkovich, Joanne McMahon, William Shatner, Benjamin Bratt, Woody Harrelson, Jack Nicholson, Clint Eastwood, Stephen Lang, Antonio Banderas, Christopher Lloyd, Liam Neeson, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Brolin, Terrence Stamp, Thomas Haden Church, Ian McKellen, Brian Cranston, Nick Nolte, Andy Garcia Kirk Douglas, Alessandro Nivola, Judd Hirsch, Dean Winters, Bill Nighy, Bill Pullman, Jeff Dennis, David Denman, Warren Beatty, and Christopher Meloni Were all considered to voice Don Lino.

The directing by Bibo Bergeron and Vicky Venson And really interesting because of like about their directing is that they do a Great job of Tackling the subject of lying to Become famous because In real life some people wouldn't lie to get free attention and some people believe them and they become famous and they become rich but eventually it does catch up to them and they have to own up to their mistakes and eventually tell the truth. I think it is really cool that they did that. 

So in conclusion this is still one of the most underrated anime films ever. I still enjoy the character of Oscar and I do like the character arc. He goes on style as a nobody but then he eventually becomes famous and then he has to own up to his mistakes and tell everyone what really happened. I still think this is one of the funniest DreamWorks films and one of the most quotable films. I still think Don Lino is one of the most underrated animated villains. I think more people should give this movie a watch before calling it one of the worst DreamWorks films ever made. If you like the Shrek movies with Mike Myers then I'm sure you will like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
