Here is My Movie Review of Deadfall

Here is My Movie Review of Deadfall

So basically what happens is that you have this guy named Joe Donan who accidentally kill his father Mike Donan So he decides to enlist his friend Eddie and his girlfriend Diane to con his uncle Lou Donan out of millions of dollars and haven't for themselves and that is basically what the story is for this film. Now the storyline in this movie is  kind of like the storyline from Casino with Robert De Niro if Casino had Laughable and horrible storyline.

Now the acting in this movie is so awful but in some ways it is so entertaining because of that.

Michael Biehn plays Joe Donan in the film. I have to say he is really terrible in this film because he either sleepwalks or goes over the top in the performance. Also the character of Joe Donan Is really dumb because he wants to steal his uncle's money and that's all he wants to do. He doesn't really have a character arc in the film at all.   Probably the most unintentionally pricing is where he Seize his father getting shot by the mob a screams no and the film tries to make it a serious moment but it is probably unintentionally funny because the movie expects you to feel bad for him but obviously you don't really feel sorry for him because all he care is about is getting his own goals money. The chemistry between him and James Corburn, Sarah Trigger, and Nicolas Cage Is decent.

James Corburn plays Joe Donan´s Uncle Lou Donan In the film. I have to say he is really horrible in the film because, much like his nephew Joe Donan, all he cares about is getting the money and that's it. He doesn't have any character arc in the film at all. Probably the most unintentionally by moment was Lou Donan Is when Eddie threatens to burn his face and he's tied to a chair with cloth in his mouth a like screaming a lot and again it tried to be the serious moment but it is really not because it comes up really laughable and kind of entertaining to watch because of how absurd and stupid it really is. The chemistry between her and Michael Biehn Is average.

Sarah Trigger plays Eddie's girlfriend Diane in the film. I have to say she is really terrible in the film. Now the character of Diane she's been waiting just there to be attractive and to have intercourse with Joe Donan and that's all she's there for and much like the other two characters I mentioned she doesn't have a character arc at all She's just there to look attractive and help Jon Donan steals his father's money and that's it. The most unintentionally funny moment with Diane is where She's asking where Eddie is and the fact that she doesn't know her boyfriend's dead that just makes the scene even more unintentionally of how dumb she is in this film. The chemistry between her and Michael Biehn Is okay.

Nicolas Cage plays Diane's boyfriend Eddie and his performance is awful but at the same time it is so laughably bad to the point that it is really entertaining because Nicolas Cage is just hamming it up and is going as out over the top as possible. Now the character of Eddie is a lunatic because in this film he screams a lot he swears, he throws a fit multiple times he kills people and that's all his character is. Now I'm going to say this out of all the characters he was my favorite one and I kind of wish the film revolved around him because once he gets killed off the movie just becomes kind of boring. Now there are a lot of unintentional funny moments. But My favorite one is where he throws this massive tantrum that his girlfriend she cheated on him and it just goes over the top and it is just one of the most unintentionally funny things and it's probably one of the funniest Nicolas Cage freak out moments of his done. Another moment I like with Eddie is when he walking out of the bar and he just screams the word fuck for no reason he just screams it really loud and people are like looking because they think he is crazy and it's just unintentionally funny but yet really entertaining. The chemistry between him and Michael Biehn is average.

Now the film Is directed  by Nicolas Cage's brother Christopher Coppola and I'm going to go out and say it he cannot direct a film to save his life because I don't know what he was going to be do he want this to be a gangster movie or do he want that to be a raunchy comedy I simply do not know because some parts of the film tried to be serious and most of the time it tried to be a comedy I will say this though I am happy that Nicolas Cage did help his brother make this film because it shows how much they really care for each other as siblings.

So in conclusion this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The acting is horrible, the story  does not make any sense but that being said there's a lot of unintentionally funny moments. I´m going to say this,  Nicolas Cage is my favorite part of this entire movie.  If the film was all about him as Eddie it would have been even better. Now  he does play a big role; he's just not in the entire film. Now this movie is horrible so I give it a 1/10. But because Nicolas Cage steals the show as Eddie. Now if you really like movies that are so bad that they're good like Speed 2 Cruise Control with Willem Dafoe then I'm sure you're going to enjoy this because it is so bad that is actually entertaining I give this movie a 10/10.
