Here is My Movie Review of Extraction 2

So basically  what happens is that it takes place after the first movie left off. You have Tyler Rake and he is recovering from what happened to him in the first film and he is planning to retire. Then he gets recruited by Nik Khan Who tells him that Ovi Mahajan and his family who have been trapped in a present so he asked to rescue them. Then you have this guy named Zurab who wants revenge on Tyler Rake for killing his brother. It is up to Tyler Rank To take down  Zurab and protect Ovi Mahajan and his family. That is basically what the story is for this movie. 

The acting in this movie is just like the first film. It is really terrific. But I think In this film the acting is even better than it was in that film. 

However the absolute big stand out of this entire movie is Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rank. Now the character of Tyler Rank I really enjoyed in the first film. But I think he is even better than he was in that film because what I like about Tyler Rank in this film is he has to protect Ovi Mahajan and his  family from Zurab and his gang of mercenaries and prevent them from being killed. Probably the best thing with Tyler Rank is where he is fighting all these mercenaries on the train with the help of Nik Khan. Not only was it a fantastic action sequence but it made sense because they were trying to get away from Zurab. So they don't get killed. Is it probably the most intense sequence of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Golshifteh Farahani, Tornike Gogrichiani, and Rudhraksh Jaiswal is still remarkable. 

Golshifteh Farahani plays Nik Khan. I have to say well I like her in the first one. I have to say she  is even better than she was in the first film. I have to say well I like Nik Kahan In the first film. I think she's even better than she was in the first film because what I like about Nik Kahan is that she has to help Tyler Rank protect Ovi Mahajan and his family from Zurab and his gang of mercenaries. Probably the best  moment with Nik Khan Is where she tells Tyler Rank not to go after Zurab. Not only was it really emotional but it made sense because she didn't want him to die. It is probably one of the best moments in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Chris Hemsworth is still amazing. 

Rudhraksh Jaiswal plays Ovi Mahajan In the film. I have to say I enjoyed him in the first film. I have to say he is even better than he was in the first film. Now the character of Ovi Mahajan I enjoyed in the first film But I have to say he is even better than he was in the fist film because what I like about Ovi Mahajan Is that there is a fracture between Him and Tyler ranks relative because he finds out that he was the one that killed his father and you can understand why he joins his uncle Zurab later on in the film. Probably the best scene with Ovi Mahajan  where you find out that Tyler Rank killed his father and you can understand how mad he is at him because  he didn't know that Tyler Rank was responsible for his father's death. It is probably one of the most emotional and tragic moments in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Chris Hemsworth is still Incredible. 

Tornike Gogrichiani plays Zurab In the film. I have to say he does an awesome job as the character. Now Amir Asif  In the first film was just a very boring and unmemorable villain; he was probably one of the most boring villains of the 2020s so far. He just didn't really have a good motivation or any interesting moments In the film. But I have to say the villain in this film is way better because what I like about Zurab as a villain is that you really understand where he's coming from because he wants revenge on Tyler Ranke for killing his brother. Probably the best scene with Zurab Is during the final battle Is the way he is fighting Tyler Ranke is when he almost killed him and not only was it really intense but it made sense because he wants revenge for his brother's death. It is probably one of the most intense action sequences in the entire film. The rivalry between him and Tyler Ranke is outstanding. The chemistry between him and Chris Hemsworth is marvelous.

The directing by Sam Hargrave Is really interesting because What I like about is directing the first one is that he did a fantastic job of developing the character of Tyler Ranke. But I have to say you're directing it even better in this film there was in the first film because in this film he developed the character of Ovi Mahajan Very well. But I have to say he does it even better in this film than he did in the fist film because In this film he has to come to terms with his father and that is probably the strongest aspect of the entire film. I think it is really tremendous how he did that. 

So in conclusion I think this is a brilliant sequel to the first extraction film because it talks about everything I liked about the first film and made it better. This is probably up there with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 as one of the best sequels of the 2023. I think Zrab Is up there with The High Evolutionary from Guardians Galaxy Volume 3 as one of the best villains of the 2020s. I say if you like the first Extraction then I'm sure you'll like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
