Here is My Movie Review of Always Be My Maybe

Here is My Movie Review of Always Be My Maybe

So basically what happens is that you have these two childhood friends named Marcus and Sasha. When they were kids they always spent time together but as they got older they Had a falling out and they Decide never to speak to each other ever again for 15 years. Marcus went on to be a singer in a band while Sasha is trying to open her own restaurant. So Marcus has to do everything in his power to win Sasha back and that's basically what the story is for this movie.

The acting in this movie is astonishing. I still think it is probably some of the best acting I have seen in a comedy film since The Fundamentals of Caring With Paul Rudd.

Ali Wang plays Sasha in the film. I have to say she still does an excellent job as the character. What makes Sasha such a remarkable character in that she really wants to make her restaurant dreams come true. Probably my favorite moment with Sasha in the film is when she calls her boyfriend Brandon Choi On the phone and just says a bunch of swear words and gives him the middle finger and she even wishes him to die and what makes it so funny is that it was 8-year-old birthday party and the Everyone's Reaction to the whole thing is really funny. The chemistry between her and Randall Park, James Saito, and Keanu Reeves is still really amazing.

Randall Park plays Marcus in the film. I have to say he does a terrific job as the character. What makes Marcus such a stand out character and that you understand was going through he doesn't know if Sasha wants to be with him anymore. Along with that he is still coping with the death of his mother. Probably the best moment with Marcus is at the end of the film where he confesses his love to Sasha is probably the most beautiful scene in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Ali Wang is still awesome.

James Saito plays Marcus's dad Harry in the film. I have to say he still does a Spectacular job as the character.  What makes Harry Such an extraordinary character is that he really cares for some markets and probably the best scene with Harry is where he and Marcus Are at a spa and Harry is trying to get Marcus to confess his true feelings towards Sasha. It is probably one of the second most beautiful moments in the film. The chemistry between him and Ail Wang is still tremendous.

However, the actor that stole the show in the film is Keanu Reeves who plays himself in this film. Keanu Reeves is probably the funniest character in the entire film because the film outright states that Keanu Reeves is the nicest actor in the entire world. Probably my favorite scene is the restaurant where Marcus is really jealous of Sasha dating Keanu Reeves and when they make out Marcus is jealous but also disgusted by what he is seeing. It also gets to the point that Marcus is really jealous of him that he outright attacks him and All the scenes with Keanu Reeves are probably the funniest scenes in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Ali Wang is still really astonishing.

The directing by Nahnatchka Khan is still really interesting because what I like about her directing is that she does a Extraordinary job of having the subject of Breaking up in a relationship because In real life some couples actually break up it either if they just want to be a part or if they think they're relationship is not working I think the strongest message in the film is that you have a choice of being with the person you love or you like to be with them because they make you happy. I think that is the strongest aspect of the entire film.

So in conclusion I still really enjoyed this movie. I still think the storyline, well simple is probably a storyline a lot of people can relate to if you are in a relationship and if you're having a trouble relationship. This is probably still in my top 5 Favorite Netflix original movies. It is also in my top 5 favorite movies of 2019. I still think if you are a fan of movies that are  Light-hearted and funny like The Fundamentals of Of caring with Paul Rudd then you might like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
