Here is My Movie Review of Zack Snyder's Justice League

Here is My Movie Review of Zack Snyder's Justice League

So essentially what happens is that much like in the original movie you have Bruce Wayne / Batman assembly in the Justice League. But then you have Steppenwolf who unlike the original movie he just wanted the mother boxes to conquer the world and this me he wants the mother boxes to impress his nephew DarkSide and hopes Darkside will be proud of him. Ended up to the Justice League to take down Steppenwolf just like in the original movie and prevent DarkSide from ending all life in the universe. That's basically what the story is for this movie.

The acting in this movie is a mixed bag just like in the original movie. There are some performances I like and there are some performances that I don't really like at all.

Ben Affleck is still bad as Britain / Batman. I don't think Ben Affleck is even trying anymore. He just goes over the top He's really overdoing the performance again. He makes Batman kill in these movies. It's not great. It's just inaccurate to the comics. The chemistry between him and Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ray Porter, and Ciaran Hinds is really great.

Ezra Miller is still really bad as the Flash. Much like in the  original film he's not really funny. He tries to be my Spider man by being both funny and emotional and that doesn't work. Also costume still really dumb it doesn't look realistic like in the TV show or even the Justice League animated series.

Ray Fisher still does a great job as the character of Cyborg. Well I did like the stuff with cyborg in the original film. I think this Cyborg is a little better because you get more of his backstory because the film acknowledged that he's been really distant from people ever since his father's death and that's why he's not really social because he still moaning over the lost of his father and I think that is the strongest aspect of the film.  Also the design sign board is still relatively accurate to the comic books. The chemistry between him and Jason Momoa is still great.

Henry Cavill isn't as bad as he was in Man of Steel as Superman. That being said, he still has the problem of him not being able to emote but I would say he emotes better in this film than all his other appearances in the DCEU. The chemistry between him and Jason Momoa is still great.

Jason Momoa Still does a great job as the character of Arthur Curry / Aquaman. I like how Aquaman is funny in this movie but I also like how he is mostly more serious. Probably the best scene with  Aquaman Man is when he is talking to Nuidis Vulko. The chemistry between him and Willem Dafoe is still great.

Willem Dafoe in this movie even though he's not in the movie that much. I still  think he does a great job as the character of Nuidis Vulko.  Probably my favorite scene with Nuidis Vulko When he is talking to Aquaman in Atlantis about the mother boxes. I still think that is one of the best moments in the film. The chemistry between him and Jason Momoa is still great

Gal Gadot still does a phenomenal job as the character of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. Probably my favorite moment of  Wonder Woman is when she is battling Steppenwolf in the third after the film. Another favorite moment in the film is where she is explained to the other members of the Justice League about the mother boxes. The chemistry between her and Jason Momoa is still great.

Now a lot of people seem to say that Jared Leto actually improves his joker performance. They're basically saying that he is doing a great job. Play my opinion he is still awful at the Joker even with decent riding he is still unwatchable and cringe-worthy now I would say this did the design of the joker Isn't as bad as it was  suicide squad 2016. But that doesn't change the fact that he is still awful as the character.

Ciaran Hind still does a phenomenal job as the character of Steppenwolf. I still think he is a really underrated DCEU villain. I still think his design is really accurate to the comic books. I think that the  design in this movie is a little bit better than the design in the original Justice League movie. Now well I did like the original design. I still enjoy it but I prefer this design. It's more scary in the armor, looks more intimidating and looks way more cooler. Now his motivation in the original Justice League movie wasn't bad but I did wish he had an actual motivation because in the original film they never explained why he wanted the mother boxes. All he wanted them for in the original film was to have power and that's not a bad motivation I just wish they acknowledged it. But in this movie he actually does have a reason and motivation to get the mother boxes. He wants to summon his nephew Dark Side so that Dark Side can be proud of him for bringing him to earth  and all he wants to do is to get back to his nephew Darkseid and Steppenwolf does go home to his nephew Dark Side but it's only his head that gets tossed into the portal. So that's the only thing that Dark Side sees of his uncle Is his head. I still think the rivalry between him and the Justice League was good in the original film and it still holds up and that film I think the rivalry between him and the Justice League is a lot more stronger in this film than in that.

Ray Porter Still does a tremendous job as Dark Side. I still think he is really threatening and really dark. Also the voice that Ray Porter puts on is really sinister and really distorted. Although the design is really accurate to the comic books. And despite the fact he only has 30 minutes of great time I do Still think that the 30 minutes did do a great job of developing Dark Side of the stuff you get to know about him in the film. But I wish you was the main villain throughout the entire DCEU like really  built him up and then you prepare for the giant epic Justice League crossover. The way I would make the DCU is  by slowly introducing each member of the Justice League in their own movies and then making the giant Justice League crossover. I wouldn't rush anything just by everything I would take my time with the cinematic universe that I am setting up. That's how I would do it.

The director by Zack Snyder actually really great for the most part. What I like about his directing that he really makes Cyborg a really sympathetic character by giving him more of his backstory and giving him  more screen time. I also like how he made Steppenwolf a stronger and a perfect DCEU villain. I also like that he actually played Dark Side in a live-action DC movie. Now Let's talk about things I still don't like about his directing. First off, for all the great things I mentioned now, all the things I mentioned about Steppenwolf, Cyborg, and Dark Side, and Aquaman that I still stand by All those things are still the best parts of the film. The thing I don't really like is that he puts in Jared Leto's Joker for no reason just to say that the Joker is still canon in the DCEU Another thing I don't really like is that he makes Batman still kill Which is so out of character is still not acting in the comics. It just makes Batman a serial killer.

So in conclusion I still think this version of Justice League is way better than the 2017 Justice League. Now I still enjoyed Justice League 2017. It still has its best moments. But I like how this one has more serious stuff but also has a couple of funny moments here and there. I still think this is probably one of the best movies of 2021. I give this movie a 8/10.
