Here is My Movie Review of Thor Ragnarok

Here is my movie review of Thor Ragnarok.

So basically what happens is that you have Thor and Loki and they have to say goodbye to their dad Odin because he is dying. Then Hela comes out of the portal and she breaks Thor's hammer. So Thor and Loki Unless the help of Doctor Strange. Then  they get transported to Sugar and Thor is put in an arena to fight the Hulk. So it is up to Thor, Loki, Valkyrie, and The Hulk to take down Hela and save Asgard. That is basically what the story is for this movie.

The acting in this movie is really interested because most of the actors doing tremendous job and then characters now I don't think the acting is on par with the acting in the first door movie because this one went for a little more of a goofy town but I think for the most part these actors still have it at their character they still give awesome and entertain performances and I think the acting is probably an improvement over the acting in Thor the Dark World because well the acting in that movie was a improvement of the acting in the first film I think in this film the actors stepped up a lot since that second film.

Chris Hemsworth plays Thor In this film. I have to say he still does an outstanding job as the character. Now Thor and the character in the film is a bit silly that he does crack a few jokes but that being said he's not bad he is in Thor love and thunder because in that film he'll just only goofy well and this movie there are moments in the film where he does come across as a little bit serious but that being said I liked it better in the first film when he was really serious but he does go through a really good character arc he has to take down evil half sister Hela he has to team up with Valkyrie and has half brother Loki to accomplish that mission has to recruit the Hulk in order to To save Asgard. Probably the best moment with Thor is where He is going up against the Hulk and he says we know each other from work and not only is it really funny by makes up because they first met back in 2012 the Avengers film. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Tom Hiddleston, Kate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, and Mark Ruffalo is perfect.

Tom Hiddleston plays Loki In this film. I have to say he still does a spectacular job as the character. Now The character of Loki is Really entertained because in this film he's not really a villain he is more than anti-hero and I think it works for the most part. But I do like it better when Loki was a full on villain but he is still really funny and in this film he is forced against his will to team up with his half brother Thor to take down Hela and save asgard. Probably the best moment with Loki is where he see Thor getting beaten up by the Hulk and he says yes that's how it feels and not only was it really funny but they're really clever call back to the first Avengers film When Hulk did the same thing to him. It's probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Chris Hemsworth is perfect.

Mark Ruffalo plays Bruce Banner/ Hulk In the film. I have to say he still does a glorious job as this character. Now the character of birth banner / the Hulk is really entertaining because in this one they do make him kind of funny but he is still traumatized by the events of Avengers Age of Ultron because of how many people he has injured during that final battle he wants to control his emotions he doesn't want the Hulk to come out in her anybody else And in this film he has to team up with Thor and Loki to take down Hela and save asgard. Probably the best moment with Bruce Banner / The Hulk is where he sees Loki again he immediately doesn't trust him Because he attacked and invaded New York with the aliens and not only was it really funny but it was a clever call back to the first Avengers film back in 2012. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Chris Hemsworth is excellent.

Taika Waititi voices Korg In the film. I have to say out of all the performances he is Probably my favorite performance of the entire film Bigger the humor that he uses at this character is just really fun and really entertaining to watch. Now core out of character is really interesting because he wants to help Thor and Loki to take down how and save as guard probably the best moment with Korg is where he first meets Thor for the first time in into Jesus himself and not only is it really funny but it makes sense because it sets of their friendship in Thor Love and Thunder. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Chris Hemsworth is wonderful.

Tessa Thompson plays Valkyrie In the film. I have to say she still does an outstanding job as the character. Now the character of Valkyrie is very incredible because she's going to be a very powerful and fierce warrior That at first see doesn't want to help Thor take down Hela after a while she decides to help him save asgard and join his team. Probably the best moment with Valkyrie is where during the final battle she is battling Alongside Thor to take down Hela and not only is it really heart pounding but it makes sense because Hela wants to destroy Asgard and kill everybody that live there. It is probably the strongest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between Her and Chris Hemsworth is still brilliant.

However the actress who steals the entire film is Cate Blanchett as Hela because she gives the darkest performance of the entire film and she does a brilliant job of giving that performance. Now Hela as A character is a very powerful and interesting villain because she wants to take over Asgard and become queen and she actually succeeds in doing that she over power store by breaking his hammer and she banishes him and his brother Loki to Sakar to be killed by the Grand Master. She also kills a lot of Asgard warriors and she sees this to the throne and rules over Asgard. Also her backstory is really interesting because she Served her father Odin as an executioner. Then Odin wanted to conquer the nine rounds and Hela agreed to help him. But as the years go by she saw Hela growing more blood thirsty and power hungry so he had to fight her and kill her and answer to the realm of Hel. Then she tried to break. But Oden prevented that by calling upon the female as guardian warriors known as the Valkyries which stopped her from getting out of that realm and over time she's been stuck in that realm for the rest of her life. Probably the best moment with Hela is where she comes to earth and she shows how powerful she is when she breaks Thor's hammer and not only was it a really awesome doing introduction sequence but it just shows how dark and powerful how it is and how far she would go to achieve her mission of taking over Asgard. I still think she's up there with Ego from guarding the Galaxy Vol 2 as one of the best villains of 2017. Fun fact actress Charlize Theron was considered to play Hela. Fun fact Cate Blanchett would eventually reprise her role of how in Marvel's What If...? season 2, The rivalry between her and Thor is perfect. The chemistry between her and Chris Hemsworth is perfect.

The directing by Taika Waititi is really interesting because he decided to make this film into a comedy action film and it works for the most part there are a lot of volume moments but he doesn't need the job of providing some very dark moments and some emotional moments I say this his directing in this film isn't as bad as it was in Thor Love and Thunder because In that film it felt like he was trying to make it just overly goofy comedy film with some dark moments but the overly silly comedy film with this film it's a bit above there are moments where it's funny but there are moments where it was really dark and serious like the stuff with the Hulk and the stuff with Hela works extremely well. So overall I think he did a decent job directing this film It's not as consistent as the first film but it is way more consistent compared to Thor Love and Thunder

so in conclusion I still really like this film because of the relationship between Thor and his brother Loki The storyline is a little over the top but it's not as over the top and the storyline in Thor Love and Thunder. I think the character of Thor well silly there were some moments where he was relatively serious. This is still one of my favorite movies of 2017 Well I don't think it is as perfect as the first Thor film I do think it is a bit better than Thor love it thunder in terms of tone. The character of Hela is a really tremendous villain because she succeeded in breaking Thor's hammer she became queen of Asgard and led a big war to destroy Asgard once and for all and kill Thor so she can take over the nine rounds. I think she's up there with The Winter Soldier from Captain America the Winter Soldier as one of the best MCU villains. I have to say if you enjoy Ant-Man with Paul Rudd then I'm sure you go into enjoy this one I give this movie a 8/10.
