Here is my movie review of Regular Show the movie 

Now when it comes to this movie at first I really liked it but the more I thought about the more I thought it was not only was it boring but some of it was really fucking stupid because either some moments are funny will  it felt really weird and don't make any sense and this is one of Well the disappointing I've ever seen because it was just really messy. 

Now the storyline in this movie is so fucking stupid because what revolved around is just back to the Future Part 2 but fucking dumber because you have Mordecai and Rigby going back in time Because apparently they broke up over some dumb college thing Mordecai became a villain in the future timeline and their teacher Mr Ross had become a dictator yes I'm familiar sound like another time traveling movie where a former High School character turned into a fucking dictator yes it's just back to the Future Part 2 but even weirder and not as funny or memorable.

now the acting in this movie is not horrible but oh my God it is so inconsistent because sometimes the actors are Really good other They just act really weird as their characters.

J.G Quintel voices Mordecai In the film and looks even parts where this movie is not working he still gives it all he still does a good job. But they buy the third act his performance was a little off but that's due to the really poor screenplay. Now well I said that the performance is not perfect the character of Mordecai Is so fucking dumb because the first two acts he's not bad. But where he end up going in the third act if so fucking stupid because he shuts everyone out he gets mad rig before a stupid mistake and that was the point why I was like fuck you I hit your character you're not funny. The whole argument scene in the third act was so stupid to be honest I actually found more interesting In stranger things where Steve and Dustin were fighting in season 5 when they were arguing about Eddie because Dustin was depressed because Eddie died and even though Dustin was an asshole and Steve was also a asshole as well they weren't nearly as horrible and Mordecai was in this movie because at least stranger things when their characters Are acting like assholes it's for a understandable and Incredible reading because They just getting stuff off their chest but in this movie oh it was made more kind of asshole until the film end and I'm like yeah I hate you Mordecai. There are some good moments with Mordecai like in the beginning of the movie with the action sequence was pretty good but most Of the film is Mordecai like a douchebag.

 William Sanders voices In the film And his performance it's okay but by the third act he just went way too over the top and he was just so annoying by the third act to the point where I'm like can you tone down being a little loser. Now the character of Rigby much like I said about Mordecai He's also inconsistent because the first two acts he's pretty good and but by the third anti that came off of the whiny cry baby and I'm like grow a pair of balls and get back up Because again he is just a fucking wimp in this movie he's a big wimp. The scene where Rigby runs off crying it was so dumb and it didn't really make me feel anything it's like I don't care about this storyline so why should I care about Rigby being a whiny little bitch. I'm in there are some good moments I like the same way he's talking to Father Time I do enjoy the beginning where he and Mordecai when they arrive in the past with their friends and they're like laugh at Benson it is really funny but he's just poorly written To the point that It becomes the death a big loser and I already mentioned. 

Now the biggest wasted actor is Mark Hamill who voices skips and he does that terrific job with his performance but he's barely in the movie to the point that I actually forgot he was in this movie that's how underutilized Mark Hamill was in this film like he has stuff to do but it feels like he's in the background most of the time. Now skips are the character is relative with the same I think he is not that bad because he is still written perfectly and there are some really fun moments with him like him asking muscle man why he is naked or Explaining to Benson what a Time NATO is. To be authentic deadly to some really fun and some really funny moments throughout the film I just wish skips had more to do.

Let's talk about Sam Marin who It actually the best part of this entire film he voiced Benson and look Even parts where this movie is not working Marin still gives it his all he's still funny he's still entertaining on this character. Although he is not the worst performance in this entire film then an actor that is much worse than him. Now the character of Benson is probably the most consistent thing in this film because he's still funny but the problem is he doesn't get angry a lot he's way too relaxed and there are moments that I found really funny like in the beginning of the movie where Benson says to Mordecai and Rigby and now for the word I mean the same to you guys for a long time you're fired. Or him reacting to Mordecai and Rigby laugh at him when they go back in time. So again all of Benson's moments are really funny he just doesn't really contribute much to the story which is kind of a disappointment because Benson is my favorite character I always enjoyed him in the show he's very funny The way I describe him is kind of like a family friendly version Christian Bale because both of them just yell a lot and that's what makes Benson so funny. But due to him not contributing much to the story he's just there to be funny and not much else which is a point because again I think Benson is my all-time favorite character in the show. I will say he's the best written character because again he is the most consistent character in the film. I can tell Sam Marin was having fun and I can tell that Malta the actors were having fun. It Is just the poor Screenplay.

However the worst performance in this film is from Jason Mantzoukas as Mr Ross because his performance it's so overly dumb and really annoying because half of the movie he is just screaming and shouting at the top of his lungs and it doesn't make his performance grade it makes it fucking annoying and really dumb Because it felt like he was trying to act Pedro Pascal from Wonder Woman 1984 by going really over the top and really hammy and it did not work because Petro Pascal was at least funny as Maxwell Lord. This guy was just annoying. To be honest I think his performance is like Jared Leto´s performance in Suicide Squad it is that bad. To be honest I think they should have cast a different actor like he who Ke Huy Quan  or Paul Rudd or Gary Oldman I think actors would make a lot more sense. But the character of Mr Ross is so fucking stupid because it's film tried to make him like Kang The Conquer from ant-Man 3 but does not work because King at least had a presence on screen it dried the managers with fucking threatening at the character and Kang had much better moments for example where he first meets Ant-Man he says you're interesting man Scott Lang you an Avenger have I killed you before. Or when he said during the climax you think this is new to me do you know how many rebellions I took down. How many worlds I've conquered. How many Avengers I'm killed and you think you could beat me I am Kang. You talk to ants. see what makes those moments work in that Kang had an on-screen presence. But with Mr Ross he has some dumbest moments in the film especially in the third act where he tried kill everyone and it took him off at the rip off to the scene in the first ant man where Darren Cross pointed the gun at Scott Lang and said take this suit off or I'll boil your brains out and peel it off. But Mr Ross also comes off at a rip off to Biff and back to the Future because Biff was this former High School bully that Marty McFly had and then the second movie he became a dictator and he took over Hill Valley in 2015 and he married Marty's mother Lorraine. also Biff was a lot more intimidating in the back of the Future movies especially in the second movie where he took over Hill Valley and turned it into Hell Valley and ruined the future mistreated Lorraine by abusing her by force her to get breast implants without her consent and he said to her when she's like trying to leave him he says oh so go ahead but think about this Lorraine who gonna pay for your clothes huh and your jewelry and your liquor who's going to pay for your Cosmic surgery Lorraine. Also he threatens to throw Marty in jail when he says maybe you want all three of the kids behind bars just like your brother Joey one big happy jailbird family. See that's why Biff is more intimidating than this Luther because Beth actually succeeded in what he wanted to do he wanted to take over the future and made Lorraine his wife which essentially makes him Marty's stepfather. So he did succeed temperately until Marty burned the sports Almanac and made everything go back to normal. but the fact that diff a character from the '80s is more intimidating and a lot more funnier because like he crashes into the manure truck he said manure I hate manure. But Mr Ross's motivation is just dumb because you want to revenge on Rigby because he ruined his volleyball game and that gave him the idea to destroy all life in the universe and then after he's done with that he can go watch TV in his spaceship and that is what the dumbest motivations that of villain can have more advantage of the up there Aldridge Killian's motivations in Iron Man 3 and turms of the one the dumbest villain motivations you can ever give a character in a film. Now there's no reason  to switch out Ross for a much more interesting villain. if they wanted someone to play an evil villain then they could have gone with a much bigger monster like Kilgrave or better interpretation of Mephisto. or maybe even The Void who can really break Skips and torture him and his friends. But no they went with lame villain instead. 

The directing by J.G Quintel is is really weird because I understand what he's trying to do trying to make you feel bad for Mordecai and Rigby and I think the idea does work the idea point Mordecai and Rigby's friendship to the test is a good idea I think for the first 2 acts it does work buying by the third act it kind of fall apart and execution and well I do like some of the dramatic moments in the film I did the third act I think he went a little too far with it and I think he could have given the character a lot more screen time. Now yes I understand that he wanted to be mostly a Mordecai and Rigby focused film. But I think the other characters should have been in the film more they should have had a lot more to do. I think that one made the film better. The overall I think he did an okay job directing the film.

So in conclusion well I don't hate this movie this film was very disappointing because this film has so much potential because if they had a better story in line a better script and a much better actor to play the Mr. Ross this movie would have been much better now there is stuff I like I think Sam Marin is the best part of the film because Benson is the most consistent thing in the film he's still funny he's still entertaining and charismatic. If I did the storyline was just way too weird and it just felt like a brand rip-off to Back to the Future Part II. But the difference in the Back of the Future Part II had a much better and much more intense storyline than this because that film was about Biff taking over the future well this film tries to do the same things that that film does but it just makes it kind of uninteresting. I also think that Malta the characters just don't act like their normal self like Mordecai acts like an idiot and an asshole and Rigby that comes off at a big wimp which I found very annoying. By the thing that ruins this film is Mr Ross because he is such a generic and terrible villain to the point that I didn't care about him because he just a lame rip off to Biff from the Back to the Future Trilogy. Also all he does in this movie is yo and complain it gets very annoying after 5 minutes when you see him. Although there's no reason because swapped him out with a better villain if they was doing to play a for a different villain if they and then why the one that's pure evil they should have gone with Kilgrave or a better interpretation Mephisto or maybe The Void where he can really torture Skips by telling him that you'll always be alone but no they went with a crappy science teacher instead of the villain. Also I think the actions are decent. But then the final battle was really done because it was just a rip off to the climax in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom with Mola Ram indiana Jones fighting on that bridge but the death was being that that actually had bear steaks well this final bell really doesn't even though it tried it just didn't really work at all. So overall I was very wet down by this film and that's why I say Skip it maybe watch it for Benson because he is the best part of the film. But then go watch Thunderbolts because that film had a much better villain in the form of The Void and a much better storyline. I give this movie a 3/10.
