Here is My Movie Review of IBoy

Here is My Movie Review of IBoy

So basically what happenes to that you have this teenager named Tom Harvey who is in high school who is in love with this girl Lucy Walker and one day he has ambushed by the gang and he has put in the hospital and then he find out that his cell phone was large into his head so now he had the ability to control any Electronic devices so he decided to take revenge on the game who attacked him at the top too Tom Harvey / I Boy to take down the gang and seek vending that's basically what the story is for the film.

The acting in this movie is fantastic. I still think all of them do a great job as their characters.

However the absolute stand out of the entire film is Bill Milmner as Tom Harvey/I Boy. What makes Tom Harvey/I Boy such a tremendous character is that He really wants to seek vengeance on the gang that attacked him. Probably the best moment with Tom Harvey/I Boy is when he tells Have a grandmother Wendy that he could have done something and not only was it really emotional but he blames himself for not preventing the gang from attacking him and it's probably the most powerful moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Maisie Williams, Miranda Richardson, and Rory Kinnear Is still remarkable.

Maisie Williams plays Lucy Walk In the film. I have to say she's still done a remarkable job as the character. What makes Lucy Walker such a spectacular character is that She really wants to help Tom Harvey / I Boy take vengeance out on the gang that attacked him. Probably the best moment with Lucy Walker Is where she Is talking to Tom Harvey/ I Boy are talking about how they like each other and not only is it really emotional but it makes sense because she really likes Tom Harvey / I Boy is probably the most beautiful scene in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Bill Milmner Is marvelous.

Miranda Richardson plays Tom Harvey / I Boy's grandmother Wendy in the film. I have to say she still does a terrific job as the character. What makes Wendy's such an awesome character is that you can tell that she really cares about her grandson and at the same time you could see that she is going through a lot. She's trying to cope with the loss of her daughter. Probably the best moment with Wendy is  where She is questioning where Tom Harvey/ I Boy is getting into. Not only was it really intense but it made sense because she is worried about what he is getting into. It is probably the darkest moment in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Bill Milmner  Is outstanding.

Rory Kinnear plays Ellman In the film. I have to say he does a decent job as the character. I still think out of all the performances he is the weakest one out of them. But the character of Ellman Is so boring here such a friend and forgettable villain and his motivation he wants to use Tom Harvey/I boy to get into the bank and get a lot of money and that's it Well he's not the worst Netflix villain he is definitely the most blandest one out of all of them.  I think Cactus Bill from Mute was a lot more entertaining because Paul Rudd did a far superior job as the character and he had an on-screen presence and he was really entertaining. But with Ellman He is such a bland and forgettable villain you forget he's even in the movie. That's how forgettable he is. The rivalry between him and Tom Harvey /I Boy Is decent. The chemistry between him and  Bill Milmner is still amazing.

The directing by Adam Randall Is fantastic because what  I like about his directing that he gives great social commentary of how technology is evolving because we have much more advanced phones  and self-driving cars and streaming services are more advanced than ever. I think it is really incredible how he did that.

So in conclusion I think this is a really underrated Netflix original film. I still think the storyline is really interesting. I still think the social commentary in this film works extremely well because the film is trying to tell you how technology is evolving and the film succeeded that really well. Also The romance between Tom Harvey /I Boy and Lucy Walker is the strongest aspect of the film. I think more people should watch this film especially if you like Chappie with Hugh Jackman. I give this movie a 10/10.
