Here is My Movie Review of Stuck

Here is My Movie Review of Stuck

So basically what happenes is that you have Have this girl named Sophie and she moved into her new house but unfortunately she accidentally releases a demon and she has to do everything and her power too survived against the demon and that is basically what the story is for the film.

Now the acting in this movie is really entertaining because Much like what I said in my review of All Is Lost this movie only has one actor.

However the absolute stand out of the entire film is Ianua Coeli Linhart as Sophie. What makes Sophie such a fantastic character is that you really feel bad for because she really wants to fight off the demon and survive. Probably the best moment with Sophie is where She first sees the demon and she starts freaking out and not only was it really dark but it made sense because the demon wanted to possess her. It is probably the most intense part of the entire film.

Now the demon in this movie despite the low budget it looks The CGI to bring it to life looks terrific. Now the demon's motivation is that it basically just wants to possess a selfie and it does just that at the end of the film. Probably the best moment with the demon is when it attacks Sophie in the box and not only it wasn't really Intense but it made sense because it wanted to complete its mission. It is probably the most suspenseful scene of the entire film.

The directing by Arturo David Roncone is amazing because what I like about his directing is that he really makes you feel sorry for Sophie as a character because she is getting chased and terrorized by this demon. I also like how he doesn't show the demon right away; he actually had the film build up to the reveal of the demon once the film shows the demon. That's where the film starts to be really awesome and really intense. I still think it is really terrific of how he did that.

So in conclusion I really enjoyed this movie. I still think the demon looks really well done just by the low budget and the CG isI not only is it great but it makes the demon come off to be really dark and really threatening. I also like how this film is not an A24 film but in some ways it is  like an A24 film because of the very simple story and how it deals with this sympathetic character Sophie. I think if you like the Conjuring With Patrick Wilson. I think you'll like this one. I give this movie a 10/10,

Here is My Tv Show Review of Secret Invasion

Here is My Tv Show Review of Secret Invasion

So basically what happens is that you have Nick Fury and he is learning that a secret invasion is coming to Earth it is the Skrulls. So he has to team up with all his allies to take down the scrolls and save humanity and that is basically what the story is for this show. To be honest I was never really into the story . I think the story is out of all the Disney Plus Marvel shows; this is not as bad as She Hulk. But that being said it is a rather boring storyline to follow.

Now the acting in this show Is pretty dull and boring. I just feel like most of the actors were sleepwalking through the entire series.

Now I will give credit to one performance Samuel L Jackson does a relatively great job as Nick Fury even in parts of the show that are really boring and and really stupid I can tell that he is trying with the material he's given. Now the character of Nick Fury is pretty interesting. I like how in the show he Is Reunited with his wife Varra Is probably the most interesting thing about this show because you can tell that they really like each other and the scenes when they are bonding I will say they  are some of the more horrible moments of this show. But that being said there is one moment with him and towels which felt kind of like a comedy movie where they are just have Nick Fury and Talos yelling at one another about if Skrulls  are good or evil and it's supposed to be this really serious moment but I just found it kind of laughable and stupid. The chemistry between him and Ben Mendelsonh, Don Cheadle, Kingsley Ben Adir, and  Cobie Smulders Is decent.

Ben Mendelsonh Plays Talos in this show. But much like I said multiple times I don't think he does a great job as the character I just find his performance really bland. I just feel like he has been wasted in the MCU too many times.  But the character of Talos is even worse because this show tried to make you feel bad for him because his race has been killed. But to be honest I don't feel bad for him because I don't really like the skrulls as characters. To be honest I felt more bad for Namor In Black Panther Wakanda Forever because his kingdom was getting destroyed by the government so he has a reason to retaliate and fight back to save his people.  Also when Talos died I didn't care because he is such a brand and flat because the MCU didn't even develop his character really well. I just didn't really feel anything when he died.  The chemistry between him and Samuel L Jackson is fine.

Cobie Smulders Plays Mariah Hill In this show. Now I like her in the movies. But in this show her performance was so flat and underwhelming. The character of Maria Hill I do think is not as terrible in this show but that being said I understand what the show tried to do with her the character but they didn't really do much and they kill her off and that was a big middle finger to the audience because if you were going to kill her off you do it in like maybe Avengers secret wars that is the best place to kill off the character not in a TV show. Also when Nick Fury Is crying over her being killed I just didn't really care for that either because her death was so out of nowhere. It did not have any buildup whatsoever like M.O.D.O.K´s death in Ant-Man the Wasp Quantum Mania because I think the way he dies was a lot better because he died because he wanted to redeem himself and his death is cringe worthy but it is really funny but yet it was really emotional. I think that was a better death than Maria Hill´s death. The chemistry between Her and Nick Fury was average.

Now I thought the one redeeming quality of the show would be Don Cheadle as War Machine. To be honest I think he does an okay job. But I just feel like he is sleepwalking through his performance at the same time. But the character of War Machine is so awful and what's really disappointing. I liked him in the other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. But in the show he is so boring and he's just here to give Nick Fury exposition and that's all he does. But the thing that really pissed me off is the twist reveal that War Machine was a Skrull the whole time. This is probably the worst twist reveal since the Mandarin twist in Iron Man 3 and that's how bad this twist is so basically a Skrull has been War Machine since Captain America Civil War. People say that this is the worst twist reveal in the MCU and I have to agree with them because even if you did not like the twist with Ikaris in Eternals that he was the villain at least with that twist they build it up really well but with this it felt like it came out of nowhere for no reason. The chemistry between him and Samuel L. Jackson Is okay.

But probably the worst performance in the entire show is Kingsley Ben Adir as Gravik. He is so over the top and cheesy and I can't take his performance seriously at all. But the character of Gravik is the worst phase 5 Marvel Cinematic Universe villain his whole motivation is that all he wants to do is to have the skrulls take over Earth and kill with the people that is his motivation It's so boring It is probably the worst MCU villain motivations and it is right up there with Aldridge Killian's motivation in Iron Man 3. Also the twist revealed that Gravik is the Super Skrull that was another middle finger to the audience because I felt like this show does everything backwards because The MCU Should have introduce the fantastic 4 and then the Super Skrull but this show introduces the Super Skrull first. I thought that was really terrible of how the show did that.  Also the CGI on Gravik when he is The Super Skrull looks way worse than the CGI on M.O.D.O.K from Ant-Man Ant-Man the Wasp Quantum Mania because at least with that character they got most of him right from the comics with a few changes which I was happy with. But with the Super Skrull they got everything wrong. I'm going to say this Gravik Is the most boring Marvel Disney Plus villain because a lot of people say that Arthur Harrow from Moon Knight is the most boring MCU villain. But I think people have been watching this show. I think they now think Gravik is a more boring MCU villain because at least with Arthur Harrow Ethan Hawke gave a tremendous performance and he had an on-screen president and had great motivation because he wanted to kill Mark Spector so he can become Moon Knight again because he was the original  Moon Knight until Mark Spector became Moon Knight and took all of it away from him. So that is why you understand why Arthur Harrow has such a burning hatred from Mark Spector/ MoonKnight. The rivalry between him and Nick Fury is so boring. The chemistry between him and Samuel L Jackson is okay.

The directing by Kyle Brandt Street is really bad because I don't know what he wants this to be that he wants it to be a sci-fi show or a drama show and the things he tried to do drama with like when Nick Fury and him coping with Maria Hills death it just doesn't work I didn't feel anything when he has crying near Maria Health dead body. I thought that was a really dumb thing of what he did with the show. I also don't think he understands who the super Skrull really is because in the comics he harnesses all the powers of the fantastic 4 and that's why he is so powerful. But in this show he has the powers of the Hulk, Scarlet Witch, and Groot It is just really dumb.

So in conclusion This is my all-time least favorite Disney Plus Marvel show. I think the storyline was really boring and not fun to follow. I thought the characters were not really good. Gravik as the villain is one of the worst  Phase 5 villains. even worse than M.O.D.O.K  from Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantum Mania because at least you can enjoy him as a villain. But with this they expect you to take the villain seriously and I just didn't. The twist reveal with Roadie / War Machine was so bad so terrible and one of the worst twists revealed in all of the MCU. Also I'm going to say this If you think Marvel's Inhumans is a terrible Marvel TV show at least with that show the villain Maximus was a much more intelligent and way more interesting villain because he had a much better motivation you understood what he was coming from and his scenes were a lot more memorable than any of the scenes that Gravik in this show Also Iwan Rheon give a way better performance than Kingsley Ben Adir because he actually gave effort into his performance unlike Kingsley Ben Adir who didn't give any effort in his performance whatsoever. This is probably one of the worst things the MCU has ever done. I'm going to say this I hate this more than Captain Marvel because that film is boring but it was not as nearly as horrendous and as boring as this show and yes it did ruin Nick Fury's character but it didn't do it as bad as what this show did to Maria Hill and at least that movie went by much faster because it was only 2 hours and 4 minis. Just skip it and go watch Moon Knight at least with that show it has way better performances with Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight and Ethan Hawk who played the way better villain in the form of Arthur Harrow who had way more personality and a much better villain motivation and has more memorable scenes than Gravik had throughout this entire show. I give this show a -76/10.
